There were not millions of “radical” or liberal/progressive white people who supported and protested/marched/fought alongside blacks?

It is the system (capitalism), which is oppressive by nature, that is to blame and not one specific race. Yes, the majority of the leaders are white but that is mainly because Amerika mostly white. Look at ANY capitalist nation, across the globe, and you will see inequality between those that have and those that have not.

We are all slaves under capitalism.

The topic of slavery reperations once again makes it's way into the headlines. I was going to make a poll about this, but I am sure those who are voting will simply vote and not elaborate on why they voted one way or another. So why waste time when I can make a regular thread, post a link and talk about it? We've talked about this in the past, but I don't think a topic/thread was ever dedicated to it.

For those of you who advocate reparations for african-americans can you elaborate? Why do you feel african americans should be entitled to reparations, and in what way do you feel these reparations should be made?

I'm against it kind of. I dont think handing out money to everyone thats black is the smartest thing to do but if they wanted to build some kind of memorial for slaves that be great. Handing out free money could do more harm then good.

I read some studies that say only 6% of whites polled believe that racism is a problem in todays society.Even during the 50s with jim crow laws on the books,the majority of whites polled stated that they thought we recieved equal treatment.LOL,words cant describe how fucked up,looney,and sick you people are.Whites will never change,they are truely an evil people,with a small minority that arent.

Fuck a website,I know for a fact that more than 10% of blacks are jobless(its a part of your oppression by spreading that fake,misleading ass stat),like I said I would say that the 59% jobless rate for black men quoted in my cities newspaper is a low estimate,as I would guess it to be closer to 75-80%.I see the shit everyday.And I know its not just Milwaukee thats like this.Im a black man who grew up in,and lives in a black neighborhood,and I know tons of black people.As usual whites think they know our situation better than we do,so fuck it.

Think about it man. The bad blacks would buy drugs with the money most likely and the alcoholics would buy alcohol. You just cant give money to the blacks you would feel could be responsible with it and not give anything to the people that would do bad things with it. The best thing to do would be to have a college fund or something and build a huge memorial and do things with the money to help the black community.
