What did the offensive line have to do with Chester Taylor running through our defense like that? We gave up damn near 500 yards to the Vikings without Peterson.... That defense is soft as I've ever seen. The Raiders are still an undisciplined team all around. Not just the o-line.

Hmm...missed the game, but it didn't look/sound like a blowout, or that they got ''smashed''...
Of course they need coaching, but what I'm saying is that the TALENT level isn't that great that if you brought in a stellar coach they'd suddenly be great.
Bring in the TALENT and give the coach (whoever he is) something to work with.

Coaching does have something to do with this, but really, these are grown men, PROFESSIONALS even, who get PAID to do this. They shouldn't have to rely on someone spitting in thier face, or being a 'rah rah' coach, to get them going.
I'd be pissed off that I'm playing so shitty, and that my team is playing so shitty, that I'd play that much harder.
You can't put it ALL on the coach...these guys need to do thier job. If Kiffen isn't doing his, can him. But if the defense isn't doing thiers, do you can all of them, too?

Yep... but I thought you said o-linemen... yeah we need new ones. But Kiffin has to coach to their strengths. We don't have linemen that can run over d-linemen... our linemen are better on the move. So we gotta stop trying to pound the ball up gut if it isn't working and start running more sweeps and get these linemen on the move. We also need a new head coach. It wasn't the linemen's fault we lost yesterday. Kiffin chose to run right at Minnesota which is their strength.. instead of passing which is their weakness.
I just want to make one point clear, and it is that Kiffin has completely turned the attitude of this team around. If you guys could look back at last year and the years before, remember the attitude that the team had and the lack of heart they played with. I'm honestly just happy that the team plays with heart now, even if they do go 2-14.
Regardless, give Kiffin's system a couple years and then it will be sufficient time to judge it. My hypothesis is that he's taking the team in the right direction...

^^^ I've noticed that if the Raiders do good the week before, you're talkin about how great they are and how they're Super Bowl bound. And on weeks they do terrible, you're talkin about how they're defense plays with no heart. I'm just saying, give the team a couple years! This is Kiffin's first year, and it's not even a team he put together. Let him pick some guys out for his system in the next year or two...
its hard for the BEST defense of the leauge to stop ANY offense when they offense has the ball that much....constant 3 and outs and turnovers on offense could be the number 1 factor of the defense playin so shitty....these guys arent robots....you get fatigued and you cant blame shit on em for that...
