J Russell will be alot better than Alex Smith. I can say that without even Russell being a proven QB yet. Then again Smith isn't a proven QB and its his 3rd year. This is his last year to do something or hes a bust, but he is looking alot better than the 2 previous years.

niner fans need to open up there eyes and see that yes for a first round pick he is a bust, if u pick a qb in the first round he needs to be ready right away and focus on the game right away and needs to know he will be playing by at least next season or sooner this has been alex smiths 3rd yr and he has improved but he is looking more like a second round pick and is not meeting expectations for a number 1 first round pick
