Im deployed overseas fightin this war on terror in a 3 world country and i cant walk by a soldiers room with out hearing this album! i know folks is sayin he's catering to bay cat, but thats not true, im on the out side lookin in right now! fool from the vigin islands, north carolina, texas, georgia, virgina and more to list is knockin this CD, they come at me, like "Sergeant i know u got the NEW e-40 right?" they already knowin about it!!

non-bay cats is slammin these blaps ya'll!!!

Shit is slappin, donno why people hating it.

The Art Of Storytellin, Undastandz Me, Hes A Gangsta, Everyday is a Weekend, Hes a boy, Back In Business, Rick Rock Horns, Weedman, Over The Stove, How Im Fellin Right Now, Bitch, Nice Guys, Prepared and Let GO and Let God are probably my favorites, but to be honest im feelin 37 out of the 28 songs, they all pretty good!

The beats take a little getting use to, but that shit is dope to me! 40 spittin like he use to on here! With them mobb lyrics! To me these are better then the last two e-40 cds (which I still enjoyed), Day Shift is definatly better, but NIght Shift got some blaps to!

Yeah, the beats is whack although 40 aint lost nothin wit his spittin. It's coo to have music that the younger kids like but these albums that niggas is puttin out need to have elements of what they original fanbase like too. All my favorite rappers is still tight, but to me it's the beats that be ruining they albums. Has most of the good rapper/producer relationships gone bad or what? Lack of tight beats is killin the game.

Damn, looks like the reviews are mixed.

Are any of the beat knocking like "The Bumble"?

What would y'all compare this CD to his old ones? Is it like "In a Major Way" or like "Charliehustle"??????????????

There are a FEW "mobb" type beats, but the rest are just stripped down drum beats with few background sounds. I dont know why people are trying to say these beats are mobb, because there are NOT. "Weedman" is the most "mobbish" sounding beat on both albums combined.

The album has a few hyphy songs, the rest are mobb imo.

Been listening to E-40 since he first started, this his best work in awhile. When I listen to these cds for the most part it brings me back to the old days of 40 water when he was spittin hard and over out there beats. Definatly dont agree with people acting like this is all jerk or hyphy music. I dont like Hyphy or jerk music and these two album go hard. Not no new jack, 28 years old and own every e40 cd. Loving the work hes done on these cds here.

I dont understand how people think most of this is hyphy or mainstream sounding, he saying FUCK THE MAINSTREAM on this shit to me, going back to his roots, spitting 90% mobb shit. This is for the old school e-40 fans in my opinion. 40 water carries the album with his lyrics n flow but the production is not bad at all, Rick Rock and Droope did the damn thang, shit slap hard on a good system and the beats fit e40s style nicely.
