I really liked both these albums. My only problem with them is too many features, but I understand what E-40 wanted to do with all Bay features. But there are some songs that woould of been perfect if 40 added another verse for himself for example Power up is one of my favorite tracks but keak is horrible i couldnt understand him at all. Spend the night would of been better if it were just 40 and laroo. and hes a gangsta is sick as fuck but it woulda been even better with just being a 40 track or maybe featuring B-Legit. If it were me I would cut certain songs out especially that duck track, E-40 spits but that beat is horrendous.

This would of made the perfect album for me even tho I liked most of the tracks.

Day Shift got some super slaps, production is lacking on some songs but 40 gasses on this one. I don't like gucci mane but even whip it up was slappin. I hope Understandz Me gets a video. I give this cd a 7/10 but thats just my opinion.

there was like 2 songs on the Day Shift i like. Productions was on some super weak shit IMO. The Night Shift was alot better, there was a few Mob beats on the this disc.

Over all i was disappointed in both albums.

the Cd's have grown on me a lot... not one 40 record has been the same, he is always evolving... we already have a Element of Surprise... we don't need another - a good artist will capture there mood of moment, and that's hard to replicate.

This Album is relevant. Its trunk rattling beats with E40 beasting on the mic... E40 has NEVER dropped a weak, or even average album. This that top of the line louie the 13th shit!
