anyways, finally got a chance to listen to both cd's more then a couple times now lol. i love both of em.
some of the beats are kinda plain n simple, lets be real bout that, buuut 40 does his thing n KILLLLLLLLLS it on every track so it doesnt even matter. i dont have a fav cd, i like both of em equally = certified SLAP! theres been some great music comin out as of late, since late09 to now(both underground and mainstream).
also, i can understand why some folks say there is a lack of creativity in the production/beats etc. and in a way i sorta agree. Now, i dont know a damn thing bout makin beats or producing but im pretty sure i can make some of the beats that 40 used, if not better. 40 complimented each beat very well, blended it in, and rarely can an artist pull that off. it shows the strength in 40's rap skill cuz sometimes ill be more into the beat/production then the rap itself. 40 is STILL one of the best in the game. i mean shit, if any other rapper used some of these beats, id prolly hate it to be honest, but 40's rap/style made it work very well. i was already impressed the first time hearing the albums but it slapped even harder the more i listened to em. I like the beats even more now cuz of 40.
