shows you that you dont need to do damage to win a fight just throw punches and kicks that do no damage and run backwards youll get a win
Pretty much. DId you ever see the Bisping vs Leban fight? Same thing, basically. Bisping actually did "run" from Leban, not the cage, the whole fight, "outpointed" him and got the win.

But for real though, Diaz got out struck by a significant margin, and did less damage. But he should win for "walking forward" more?

I wanted Diaz to win, and thought it was a damn close fight that could have gone either way....but it didn't. I had Condit winning the fight, and the stats (which judges go by 99% of the time in MMA) had him winning too.

Look, if I could change the rules of MMA scoring, I would. I would make leg strikes not count as much as, let's say...punches. And change the scoring system of takedowns, stuffed takedowns, lay and pray, etc. But for right now, it is what it is. Get over it.

shit is what it is nick deserves a rematch tho if he doesnt get one shits a joke in the end thats why you cant leave it up to judges
Like I said a few pages back, I definitely think if GSP ain't ready soon they should give Nick the immediate rematch. AND I hope Diaz wins. Would fucking LOVE to see Diaz vs GSP and Diaz win that one too.

I think it's possible too. Read somewhere today that Dana said something about considering Kos vs Fitch, so I don't know who else you would give Condit other than Diaz. Let's hope so.

Bas Rutten said Condit won so that makes everybody elses opinion irrelevant.
well..... shit lol

LOLOLOLOL! Put your glasses on, bud. It's NOT the same GIF. FAIL!!!! LMAO!
i was asking. relax buddy it isnt that exciting that i was wrong. but yeah one of those combos was in a round which he clearly won and the other was in the round condit won. also "moving foward" is called octagon control and is suppose give you points but i guess they threw that out for this fight. and alot of those strikes were kicks that were checked. look i get it has to do with judging being broken and thats why i'm pissed, i see why they gave the fight to condit but anyone watching that fight can clearly see who had control in that fight.

yeah he also said they might just do an immediate rematch but it'll be up to the fighters. hopefully nick calms down and takes the fight, and hopefully condit doesnt become a ducker.

You asked but right after that accused me of doing so. Not "exciting", but was funny you called me out but were wrong in doing so. But I apologize for rubbing in it. All good though.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it comes down to is the point system in MMA today. That's why I can't understand why so many people are surprised. I also think it was a damn close fight that could have gone either way, and surprised people don't see it that way either.

Again, I'm a huge Diaz fan and was just disappointed he didn't change his gameplan during the fight because it was apparent since the first round that Condit wasn't going to stand and trade with him. Let's just all hope for the rematch.

LMFAO.....

Nick bitch slapped him.

5000
i laughed when he slapped him and when he did the peek a boo trying to taunt condit into fighting
shows you that you dont need to do damage to win a fight just throw punches and kicks that do no damage and run backwards youll get a win
and this is the reason that boxing has fallen to the wayside nobody going for the win just going into the fight to not lose. it is crap whether or not he landed more blows he didnt fight he ran and leg kicked his way to the championship

Cesar was just on Helwani's show. He went pretty crazy. Off the top of my head:

- hasn't talked to Nick since saturday so he's not sure if he's changed his mind about retiring.
- he told Nick it was even going into the 5th round, thought it was actually 3-1 Nick but didn't want him to coast. Nate told him it was 3-1.
- Condit's management already turned down a rematch.
- says Jackson neutered Condit. He likes Condit but didn't like the way he fought. He would've been happier if Nick got KO'd than the way it went.
- there's a judge that openly doesn't like Nick and has said he won't ever give him a winning decision.
- someone in the nevada athletic commission told Nick to go box so he'll get paid better when he loses decisions.
- was upset that they were pouring water on Condit between rounds. Thinks it made him slippery.
- pointed out that Condit's corner would yell "Blue" when they wanted him to run from Nick.

this is from Royce Gracie "@nickdiaz209 won that fight in my.opinion. he is what every fighter should be a true martial artists who comes to fight. Well prepared and with a gameplan. Not one that envloves running from a fight. Why come to fight if you gonna run. Hackney was running when we fought and I had to take the fight to him, Shamrock showed up not to lose in our rematch its a shame really. I for one am proud of Nick and happy he is part of Grace Jiu-jitsu family. @NateDiaz209 "

Well I wondered who he favored in that fight? Smh. Who gives a fucc wut these fighters opinion are? If they were in the same weight class as nicc, would they stand and bang? Doubt it. Ask cyborg, Daley, and bj penn.
