"People are like, 'Oh, Carlos is not a finisher,'" he continued. "The guy threw how many spinning elbows? How many spinning back fists? He threw a flying knee. He tried to finish Nick Diaz when the time and the opening was there. I can't find a flaw in his performance."
"\
LOL, yes because throwing spinning elbows and backfists are sure fire ways of ending a fight. Don't mind Condit getting a win, but saying he was going for a finish is absolute bullshit. The gameplan was to win a decision, and that's what bugs me. For an organization that pushes "Never leave it in the judges hands." it sure seems like Greg Jackson has that in his playbook often.

Good for his fighters, but from a paying customer's perspective, a bit different.

And I get the whole "A fighter has got to do what he has to do to win" angle. I don't care about that. Floyd Mayweather fights the same way, and I hardly ever feel like I'm getting my money's worth when I pay to see him.

I understand that Condit almost never fights like this, so it isn't a knock against him personally. Just want to see guys out there trying to finish fights, and not take advantage of a flawed scoring system and incompetent judges.

Yea, buddy got THE closest look at the fight outside of the fighters themselves and ref. He got 1,000+ photos! Wut do u have? An ass hurting and ur fighter that took a big fat L.
You're a clown if you really thinking a fucking photographer's opinion holds more weight than a pro fighter breh. I would quit too. Nick is right. I'm sick of these fools like GSP, Condit, Rashad, Fitch, etc who try to win off points. There's a reason why real die hard MMA fans will forever love fighters like Chuck, Wand, Nog, BJ, etc. They left it all in the ring EVERY fight. If this is the direction this sport is going in and nothing is going to change with this sport then FUCK MMA. This is coming from someone who has been watching MMA since 93 and training for the last 8 years.

He's not my fighter, I don't train the guy.. I like Nick Diaz. Nor*Cal over anything all day. And do you blame the guy? Holding a guy down and slight tapping is a win... Running back and throwing tiny leg kicks is winning... It's bs bro, that's all I'm saying... It's gonna end up killing the sport..

Lol, u mad? Haha. It's all g. Im disappointed tho that u train. 90% of the ppl I train wit said condit put together a great gameplan to counter Diaz cage-pinning assault. Since uve been training for 8 years wut would YOU tell condit to do if u cornered him?

U Diaz (NorCal over anything all day) nutthuggers are somethin else. The photographer has PHOTOS, over 1000 PROVING condit outstrucc him wit more damaging strikes. U guys in hella denial. It's cool tho. We gotta agree to disagree. It's good that ppl like us have so much compassion for this sport. Btw, I like the Diaz brothers.

Obviously he won so in the end it would be hard to tell him otherwise, but I personally wouldn't have any honor or respect for myself as a professional fighter. In the end I guess it's about heart and pride of being a fighter vs selling out and fighting to squeak out victories. Greg Jackson is ruining this sport. Eventually the judging is going to have to change or this sport will die out.

I'm not going to lie I am biased. Nick Diaz is my favorite fighter(next to Wand), I've got homies from and that train with the scrap pack(Gilbert Melendez group), my instructor is a Ralph Gracie black belt who Cesar Gracie's cousin, and i've met Nick and Nate before and they are cool as fuck.

Yeah but I have 100000000x more respect for BJ. BJ is a motherfucking warrior. He got his ass whooped that entire fight and kept coming forward. Most fighters would of broke after that 2nd round. That's what's up. BJ is the epitome of a real fighter.

At the end of the day, me n ur opinion of condit appearing as a "warrior" aint payin his bills. I would love to c a fight also. I paid for the ppv. But I understand y he fought like that. Like I tell ppl, sometimes u can't do the "hardest" shit, sometimes u jus gotta do the smartest shit.

Like I said you don't have to exchange bombs, but atleast try and finish the fight. CC did not try to finish that fight. Period. He threw almost 70 leg kicks and Nick was still chasing him until the bell rang. He looking to score points in the safest way possible and that's it. Come on.

Yeah I'm definitely not a fan of the way he fought but my whole thing is I understand him getting the win due to the current scoring system. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. That was only his 2nd decision in 28 wins, so hopefully he gets back to his old ways. I think he'll be much more agressive in the GSP fight but who knows. Fuck Greg Jackson though, I can't stand that guy.
