Like I said tho, it's a lose lose for condit or ANYONE who fights a now exposed Diaz. That's the way to beat him is don't get caught on the cage and brawl with him. So anybody circling out with GOOD angles are gonna be labeled "runners". It's HARD to knocc Diaz out. So mos likely the opponent won't knocc him out and be labeled a point fighter. AND I LIKE THE DIAZ BROS.
I completely agree. I'm a huge Diaz fan too and understand it's not smart to let him back you into the cage. And like somebody already said, might have even been you, Rogan talks about that all the time how you CANNOT let the Diaz brothers back you into the cage. I would have loved to see a brawl, but I can't knock Condit for fighting smart. And he never ran from Diaz, like some people are trying to say, he ran from the cage back to the center of the octagon.

Again, I wanted Diaz to win and was disappointed he didn't change his gameplan during the fight. All he wanted to do was get Condit against the cage.

you just said you thought diaz won, its not like diaz loss the fight by one point if im correct some judges had him losing 3 rounds. That's a robbery.
He has to lose 3 rounds in a 5 round in order for Condit to win. Scores don't determine how close a fight is, if 2 men fight 5 rounds and every single one of them is close one judge could give all the close rounds one way, one could split them and one could have it 5 rounds the other way.

i dont think thats how champions fight. champions dont just go for points. they finish fights.
With that state of mind, EVERY title fight would never go the distance. Sometimes it jus can't be done. When's the las time Diaz has been FINISHED?

LOL! He's 28-5. Out of those 28 wins, he has 26 FINISHES! Only two decisions. That's amazing.

So he definitely "finishes" fights. It's not easy to finish Diaz though.

IN ALL FAIRNESS I THINK US AS FANS EXPECTED MORE OF A STAND UP WAR THAN A TECHNICAL FIGHT. AND WERE DISAPPOINTED.
I CANT BLAME CONDIT FOR FIGHTING A SMART FIGHT...IMO I THINK THE SCORING WAS OFF BUT I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE JUDGES CRITERIA WAS ALWAYS INCONSISTENT IN MMA...I ALWAYS TEND TO FAVOR FIGHTERS WHO TRY TO END FIGHTS INSTEAD OF FIGHTING FOR A JUDGES DECISION...BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SPORT HERE. SO IT'S PART OF THE GAME.

SO HOPEFULLY THERE IS A REMATCH

condit fought to get points not fight. what is the point of fighting? to land the most non effective strikes or to knock your opponent out ? to impose our will on your opponent to be a gladiator to the end? run?? u fight like that when your scared . now condit did land some knees and kicks but come on.

no wonder ufc got rid of the gladiator intro.

That decesion is bullshit , nick controled the center of the octagon and pushed forward the whole fight. He won the first 2 rounds and that takedown and submission attempt should have one him the 3rd. I dont blame carlos for fighting smart , but theres no way he defeated nick. I'd be pissed off too.

Carlos did what he needed to do, but so much for being a natural born killer. I hate that fights can be won doing what he did. He wasn't even counter striking he was literally throwing a kick here and there and then running away. I like that he used a variety of kicks(saw a brazilian kick in there), but Nick was walking him down the entire fight and landed some solid shots that snapped Condit's head back.

lol I kind of hope they let Nick leave the UFC. It's really not the place for him. I'd rather watch him fight guys like Semtex, Whitemare, Misaki, Sponge and Cyborg right now tbh. You can't waste entertainment of that nature against guys who would rather get a bigger paycheck than please the fans.
Even if he left Zuffa he could rematch Semtex in Bamma and Whitemare in Dream. Or go to Bellator and fuck up everyone in the tourney and have a fun fight with Askren. Or catchweight against Cannibal Khalidov in Poland fuck that would be sweet.

Nick Diaz was "exposed" by someone who ran away everytime there was an exchange only to run back to the middle of the ring to land weak leg kicks.
I remember Condit throwing a sick combo. That left punch, left leg kick, right head kick.

Let Diaz meet Condit in a dark alley one day - I got racks on who is walking out the alley.
Albeit a moot point, I think most would agree with you. I also think most people know that if they fought again, Diaz would win. But he didn't and people just need to get over it.

LOL @ people saying he should change his nickname because of 1 fight. In that case, nobody should have any nicknames. And who really cares about them anyways?

I'd rather him have the chance to fight better fighters than those you just mentioned. What Diaz did is a crucial mistake in boxing for someone who's claimed to be the best boxer in the UFC. He followed a guy in a straight line all night and once Condit figured out how to step away Diaz never adjusted and kept trying the same thing over and over.

This is the craziest thing I think I've seen in a minute, people are acting like Condit straight Kalib Starnes'd this fight. I agree with WXS STOMPER I expected something different but I'm not gonna say I was disappointed in the fight or anything.

People should be more upset on how Cacares gets 2 points deducted for an accidental low blow in a 3 round fight that is as crucial as possible. That's by far the most disgusting thing that happened on this card.
