I said from the start James Toney would lose don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Toney = old, fat and a shot fighter. A lifelong boxer, trained in MMA for what? 6 months?? Talked his way into the UFC cause he wasn't relivant in boxing anymore, couldn't get any fights...
Couture = UFC legend, awesome wrestling background, etc.
This is exactly what I said would happen too - it would turn into boxing vs mma and the fans of that sport who won would talk shit when in reality this proves nothing we don't already know which is a boxer in an MMA fight will lose. An MMA fighter in a boxing match will lose. It's that simple.

It was hard to watch BJ in this fight. Not because I'm a big fan (which I'm not really, but I was rooting for him) or because he was getting dominated, but because it didn't look like he gave two shits about the fight. And his corner? What a mess. I can say with honesty that it didn't look at all like BJ was trying to win this fight, which is SAD. He was the complete opposite of aggresive. I could have sworn I saw several opportunities for him to make something big happen but he passed on all of them. What the hell was wrong with him? It looked like he was fighting in slow-motion.

I like mentioned in another thread I think Toney was there for a check. He (and the UFC) knew what was going to happen when he got in the ring. A punchy former boxer vs. an older but in better shape MMA fighter = instant fail for that boxer.
I think to be fair they should have a rematch where its boxing rules only. Toney might still get knocked out but at least it will be fair.
Only fair? Nobody in the UFC gives a shit about a boxing rematch. This is MMA. Toney chased this down and he received an MMA beat down. Can you believe Toney asked for Brock? Lol? His face would of looked like lasagna after Brock double legged his ass in the first second of the fight and pounded his cranium in.
True Toney made his own bed and got buried in it...but it was like watching the class nerd get picked apart by the entire school lol.
They just wanted to prove that MMA was better, which by definition it is. But putting together an exposition like that just made the shit kind of sad to me.

I don't know what's wrong with BJ. Personally, I think Frankie is a bad match up for him(good boxing, amazing cardio, quick as fuck, solid footwork, great at mixing up boxing+kicking+wrestling, etc). But I guess him losing that desire to fight is a possibility. I expected BJ to come out looking like this
