Rooting for BJ, but its very hard not to like Frankie Edgar. He's humble, respectful, and you can tell he's one of those kids who's been the underdog his whole life. Seems like a good guy, and its always tough to root against someone like that.

I Been pullin' for Frankie ever since I saw him debut in the UFC against Griffin. He's a fighter you just seem to love. Never in a boring fight, & always brings the action. One thing for sure, win or lose, Frankie is gonna bring his A game to the fight. I'm excited for 118.

Luck had nothing to do with it. Whether BJ had an off night or not, no fighter is ever at 100%. Plain & Simple, Edgar had a better gameplan coming into this fight, & because of that, won the contest. Frankie knew that if GSP, or Machida couldn't knock him out, how could he? Take him to the ground & get submitted? Negative. He outworked him, got a couple takedowns, was swifter on the feet, better head movement & was more active on the feet.
