I lost 20 pounds by cutting out coke, fast food, switching to whole wheat products and eating more greens. I had some really bad eating habits. I was eating at fucked up times of the day. I never really looked over weight, i just needed to lose cuz of my blood pressure and cholesterol(spelling?)

well im a little on the heavy side im 5'9 weighing 240 im trying to get down to 210 maybe 200 if possible...now i drink,smoke cigs,drink soda,and i usually eat alot at night,i dont work out......so basically im in bad shape....if i cut any of these out will i see a difference
stop doing everything you're doing

quitting cigs might actually make you gain weight initially... but if you eat better and work out you'll be good

and if you're gonna drink alcohol at least cut back... try to liquor over beer... don't drink as much... and keep is strictly for the weekends... if that

cutting out soda alone will make a huge difference... that shit is horrible for you

First of all. The most important thing is water. This is the most important shit ever. ever ever. ever.

Cut out all drinks except water. Anything that isn't water is a diuretic and your body has to work to break it down, thus dehydrating you.

You need a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day just to for your organs to run. 64 ounces. If you're 240, then make it 120 ounces.

But slowly start rehydrating. If you've only been drinking 2 glasses of water a day, then move to 4 or 5. Then eventually to 120 ounces.

Cut out all the junk food, no cheating.
No drinking anything else until you've gotten to make 120 ounces a daily habit, because that's bare minimum for your brain, organs, and everything to work properly.

Once you do this, then you'll be ready to start working out.

When you sweat working out, you'll need more water to replace that sweat.

Any time you drink anything besides water, you will have to replace that much water back into your body.

drink water too.. replace every drink with water.. water is essential to your metabolism.

cut out soda.. too much sugar AND its bad for your teeth.. eats at the tooth enamel.
Someone already beat me to it.

Good luck with breaking all those unhealthy habits. Work on one at a time. Cut out the shitty food and drinks first. That should be easiest. Quit smoking. Then your body can properly respond exercise.

If you try breaking all the habits at once, you'll probably fail. It wasn't overnight these habits formed and in order for you to create new good habits it's going to take some time.

im tryna lose a couple also. im also up to 240 but im 6' 0'' at least. haha. i just cut out fast food & anything deep fried. last time i was this fat i did that & got down to 197 but i gained almost all of it back cuz im lazy & love fast food.

quit drinking, if ur gonna drink, at least drink clear liqour, no chaser, and keep it on the weekends. a bottle a weekend. quit drinkinging soda completely.dont eat at least 4 hours before bed. eat 5 small portion meals throughout the day. eat oranges and apples as snacks in between. get a gym pass, only like $20 a month. make sure your ready to do this tho cuz if not your not gonna see a difference, i gained mass and im no gonna start the weight loss part of working out. hella cardio and more weights.



and shit aint easy. so make sure you really try.

and if u fail its your own ass fault.

do not fuck with hydroxycut, hoodia, etc.

it gets rid of water weight which you need! you wanna lose the fat not the water weight.. you lose the water weight youre actually dehydrating yourself.. hence the 'hydro'xycut.
