He's already answered, people just can't see it. He talks about why he holds his views quite a bit, I just think people don't see it as that. They look at it as him talking shit because of how he comes off sometimes.
Honestly, I can understand his situation...And I think anyone who can't is ignorant on this topic (and part of life). I could probably answer why he is the way he is without asking him, just by reading what he says and how he says it.
If a bunch of white people jump a black person, that person has a high potential to hold a bias against white people. Yes, we know not EVERYONE is the same but that's where stereotypes come in. It's a way to predetermine if you should associate with someone or not. If you have had bad experiences with one "type" or "race" of people over and over, it will begin to effect you whether you think it does or not.

I usually don't see him saying he doesn't like white people it's more the "white man" or the "man" if you will. I'm not trying to defend him but you at least have to acknowledge his perspective of the situation otherwise you can't debate with him cause you don't really know what he's saying cause you don't know where he's coming from.
Notice something about whites...It's okay if you're white to call a white person a cracker or a honky most of the time. But you don't see black people call each other niggers. I'm sure there might be exceptions, cause I think there are in every situation. I honestly don't pay enough attention to most of the "racist" shit he says, but I doubt that he thinks every single white person on the face of the earth is a racist. I think people on here prove him wrong all the time about that (not implying he says it, just saying people aren't racist here etc).

I don't think it matters. Somebody's personal opinions on race are their own rights. Until EDJ pisses me off, which he hasn't, I ain't gonna get down on the dude. For all I know, he could be right about being racist and I'm in the wrong for being white. In the end, it doesn't matter to me. I'd rather debate some shit I care about... like ecumenical politics.

Why are you addressing me and telling me thats no excuse for racism? The problem I see is with YOU and other members of the board (the white members) who are crying racism. Instead of crying racism over and over you should attempt to dismantle his racism by LEARNING WHY HE IS (OR ISNT) A RACIST. The fact that "no one cares about his past" shows pure ignorance on your part. If you were going to rehabilitate a drug addict or prostitute how would you do it? Would you not want to know WHY they chose to use drugs or WHY they chose to be a hooker? The more information you have the more you can understand WHY the person behaves in an a "malicious" way.
BTW I would also like to mention that I do NOT agree with EDJ and all his views pertaining to white people. Yes you do have some bad white people, but you also have bad blacks, jews, chinese, latinos etc etc etc. I have had bad experiences with ALL races, but the ones that have left the most negative impact on me are the ones from my own people. You had whites marching with King and you had whites bowing in prayer with Malcolm at mecca. You have whites that have fought AND died for black rights. However, in this society the BAD outweighs the good and the same can be said about black people. Look at all the accomplishments and contributions made by black people in america. The majority of them are now watered down or swept under the rug because of the "lets move on attitude" and the "well I didn't do it" attitude, and because of racial stereotypes created by people in positions of power.
