I wouldn't say I support IT. I do support A system, and I prefer the one we have now over none at all. The thing I dislike most about the system is the requirement of money to resolve leagal issues. I do not look down so mightly as you on the parole/probation part [of the system] as far as its ability to keep people under watch, providing greater punishment for repeated offenses. This is so because I personally do not believe it is that difficult NOT to commit a crime. Most of the "crimes" I have been nabbed for are those commited while entertaining myself (alcohol/weed), petty as they are. However they (probation) are still flawed in more ways than one.

I'd rather see NO system, than this system. At least when people fuck up someone can do somethin about it.
