Message to Tech N9ne and his real fans:

Fuck this thread starter and all the haters in here. I have no idea why some of you are even here. Yall are gonna make Tech pissed at the fans...I can already bet he is fed up with this rap shit. I know I would be for sure. I think he tours too much sometimes but even that is a "catch 22". The bottom line is that you can't please everyone...so only do what pleases you and the ones who truly care about you. I have been bumpin you since 95' and I just recently met you at the Chicago House of Blues show. I kept on running into you and Krizz before the concert in our hotel...I was staying at the Sax hotel and you were chillin in the lobby for a while...I wanted to stop n chat with you more than we already did, but then again we did not want to be rude. I tried to give you as much space as possible even though we both knew we were fan/artist. Plus I was going to the VIP anyways so I got to chop it up with you and you signed most of my catalog...including Celcius. But anyways, please dont listen to these dumb ass fans who take your music for granted and dont appreciate shit. I just don't want you to think that all the fans feel like these fuckers. Trust me, there are more loyal fans like me in this world than there are haters. We just don't always have time to share our opinions. But PLEASE...just keep doing you! && me and my boy will see you in the Rain!
Great job not reading anything dipshit.

Fuck you. Are you too stupid to see that I wrote this thread in defense of Tech? Maybe you havent been around to read what has been posted in here lately. Read the first fucking post again idiot. Don't you think if I woulda posted some shit to offend Tech he would have addressed it? I have been defending him this WHOLE thread dipshit, and I have known the brotha for almost 10 years now, so fuck off dummy.

Edit: You said fuck the thread starter and then propped me on the first post. You are all over the place, put the pipe down.

well its pretty clear the solo work u do tech most people love..even the new fans..the last 2 mixtape cds just aint what the majority of people love about you.. why dont u do these mixtape cds as real mixtapes ? a free to download ep(5-6 tracks or sumthin) thatll give the "kc" small time artists u have on these mixtapes a play and just throw it on the website for download..or link it to a pre order for a different cd.. and than u can focus on the bigger projects that everyones waiting for like kabosh and watever other crazy shyt u and strange music can think up

id prefer the mixtapes to be like that dunno about everyone else..

After reading this thread here comes my thoughts ( which I usually keep to myself )

I think people are mistaking change for evolution. I've been listening since I first heard now it's on off the calm before the storm. I went and hunted that album down to get my own copy. Ever since then I tried to get all the tech albums. I watched over time as the evolution occurred. CBTS and The Worst seem to be some on some blunt smoking dip a stick type of shit. Then the fallout came with midwest side and we got the anghellic album which to me was liberation in a way. Then AP hit and it was liberation part 2. A crazy top hat hippie magic psychedelic whirlwind of party. Everready and Killer seemed to have something for everyone. The Collabos cd's are great because they switch themes. MLK was gangster shit, Sickology had the hard core lyracism appeal. Each album is unique. KOD was some dark shit which was conveyed by the content. Now we got the mixed plate. When I see channel 5 doing a piece on the album days after the arresting incident I was impressed. Typically kctv 5 come across to me as some haters. When they said something about tech was gonna be on tv I thought for certain it would be about the ferrari incident. It was nice to see some POSITIVE coverage. The touring has changed from smaller venues like pine street in warrensburg where travis was checking tickets at the door to rocking big venues like sandstone and others. Fuck I mean dude is overseas touring across europe and shit. Already hit down under and crossed the U.S. more than anyone I've heard of. The changes are more like evolution as things grown in my opinion. The music has also evolved.

to me the hating comes from everyone wanting tech to do something that fits their tastes. The problem is the range of tastes the fans want for themselves. I have enjoyed watching tech do his thing for quite a while now. I have watched it evolve over time and it is a wonderful thing. Being from the greater kansas city viewing area there are 2 things I have been waiting to see for quite a while. The KC Chiefs become a force to reckon with and tech n9ne all over tv and everywhere you turn. It is my belief that both of these things will occur. I'm sure I will enjoy the mixed plate once I get to hear it. Music has a tendency to grown on you. I used to skip over biancas and beatrices when I first started banging the album back in the day. As time went by I would end up with that song on repeat. Haters are gonna hate that is a given. Throw another hater on the fire for fuel. Do your own thing regardless of how everyone else tries to modify the direction of the ship.. but then again that's already known.

Side note to Whitlock ... It would be the shit if you could write a few articles about all the positive things that are going on once and a while. Positive thinking is a very powerful force.

The album is mediocre to average at best period we've established that.
But I will say who are we to judge what old Tech N9ne music is or what his new music is? To judge what "Tech N9ne music" should sound like. I mean he is Tech, it's his emotion and his feelings on the way he should sound.

So as our own individuals we have the right to hate it or love it that's the point blank.

I will say also I loved MLK and even most of Sickology,
but this effort isn't bad it's just average and would've served better as a free mixtape or street album. Put that shit on 2dopeboyz, all the blogs and even MTV Mixtape Mondays and it would get some very very good promotion for Strange Music & all the artists in KC.

Just me venting an idea idk...

IMO I prefer the way Prozak releases his music where when he drops something its rare but its something big, something that he's been saving for a while. I know Tech aint Prozak, but I personally feel that these collabos albums are cool but don't rep Tech at his fullest, I'd prefer to hear 1 Tech album drop every year or 2 and liking every single one of those tracks instead of getting 2 albums a year and only liking a handful of tracks from each album... just my 2 cents

so i guess what theyre saying p.ellz is that theycant grasp the idea of the collabos being totally different from my solos and they insist on comparing the solos against the collabos so maybe i shouldnt do anymore collabos disk? what you think p.ellz? cause i like to give people good music and they sayin for the most part this aint it so all solos year to year then what yall think? yaw tired of me exposing new rappers? yaw just wanna hear me?
thas not what im sayen bro...

first of all im one of the only people on here sayen the gates mixed plate is dope..

im sayen that people are acting like a mixtape/collabo cd is going to have the depth and content of an album...which it isnt, it might for an up n coming artist tryna get they foot in the door but thats not the case.

n im sayen that those fans who prefer shit like I AM EVERYTHING, RIOT MAKER, DARKEN THE SUN, etc. over your PURE HIP HOP are the ones who are going to shy away from the gates plate cuz that shit nothin but g shit...

im not sayen dont do collabos...fuck that...im just glad to have sum new shit to slap...fuck the mothafukkas who dont agree

Tech will always rap about partying, screwing different bitchs, and his mamma. What else does he have to write about? He cant say FTI anymore...cuz right abt now he needs the industry too bad...he cant rap abt his beliefs in God anymore...there is only so much to say abt that from him....He writes abt his life and his life consists of pretty much touring and fucking bitchs...then when he is back in KC to record all he does is....go to strip clubs, fuck bitchs, and squeezes in writing when he wants to....YES....this album was rushed and I look forward to seeing how rushed 6's and 7's is....seems he is loosing it...he is getting older and has to rush to get where he needs to go now....face it...time is running out....I just hope he goes out with respect in the game and not cuz he "fades" out due to wackness. He has worked hard for years but I think EverReady was his best album and he took the time and effort to write it....he might just be in a funk...but it kinda seems to me like its sticking....cant wait to see how many sales GMP gets in the 1st week....

LOL @ people sayin Tech lost it. Like I said earlier, this album is better than over half rap music released. Still believe Techs losing it? He just released KOD 7 months ago and ya'll called it a classic. I could understand if he put out crap 3-4 albums in a row. Some of ya'll are never happy and bitch about anything possible. Go listen to ICP or Drake, whoever you might listen to, since this is SO MUCH WORSE THAN THEM LOL.

Well here is my opinion. Ive been listening to tech since Anghellic and I have respected everything he is done. Every album I can play straight through and put it in anytime of the day. Of course everybody has their favorite tracks and least favorite tracks but I dont know any rapper who is versatile as him. The dark/gangster/partying music he does is the best from any rapper I know. Im a big hip hop fan and I believe he makes the best music for everyone. He is one of the hardest workers in this music biz and always gives back to his fans which I enjoy the most. He gives us more music than any other rapper than I know and constantly tours to spread his music. Im thankful for tech for his music and for building strange music. Kutt, Krizz, Scoob, everybody and newcomers like Irv da Phenom I enjoy. Im from KC and its good to hear local rappers with Tech. If it wasnt for these collabos we wouldnt be hearin from alot of them. I dont know why people complain about Gates Mixed Plate. I think its dope ass cd. I think true tech fans would understand him and support his music

I heard this shit and I knew I would come on here, and see a bunch of people crying about the CD. Fuck that shit man, if you listen to Tech's verses the shit is sick, his verses dont sound the same, he has actual rhyme schemes, hes still doing the Tech shit, its just not the darkness that the weirdos want. Listen to Harvey Dent, its perfect for this CD, Tech cant be dark all the time, and if you want him to be, fuck you. This is the perfect CD for the summer. Like Tech himself said, wait for 6s and 7s, its bound to be sick, just like AG AP ER etc were, the solo shit and collabos shit has been different since MLK.

Also, you can say what you want about Tech going mainstream, again fuck that, at first when Tech said "The mainstream goin' Tech N9ne", I didnt buy it. Then I went to show after show here and have seen the crowds grow and grow, and they also transform we got 17 year old suburban broads at this shit now, and you all know Tech didnt get any help from Radio/TV, so the new people are coming to Tech.

Again, fuck you sissys, go listen to ICP or Slipknot or some shit if you want that dark shit, then when 6s and 7s comes out, come back to sucking Aaron Yates off.
