Theres a few problems with this. for one, you think that theres a neutral place for the fans...really? Do you only have one mood? im sure there are times where you are angry, sad, happy, and times when your in the mood to get drunk and fuck bitches. there is no neutral.

For two, tech n9ne does not do mixtapes

For Three, there is no us. you seem to be speaking for yourself there, bud.
Everready was a perfect example of a neutral place for the fans. Had the party/club/sex songs and the dark/hardcore/sad songs. It was an album that the fans from the past liked and it also helped gained new fans.

Thats exactly why I loved Everready, IMO Tech's best album, has some of Techs best party tracks, some of his sickest darkest tracks, and some of the best deep tracks. All around the perfect Tech album. Collabs didnt sound forced and were actually somewhat enjoyable, beats were on par, and hooks sounded great and original. I think every Tech album should thrive for that excellence, nobody would complain then. Just my 2 cents

I've only listened to it once or twice, and there's track's I dig(Jumpin' Jax, Harvey Dent, Far Out), and some I don't (KC Tea, Too Many Girls, etc)

It's not a terrible album, and it's not his best.

I'm not gonna hate dude for releasing a CD that I don't dig. I might not spin it as much as some others, but I'm not going to act like this album is the absolute downfall of Tech's career. No artist makes music that every fan will dig 100% of the time.

i think the only people who dont fuck wit the gates mixed plate are people who dont even listen to much hip hop besides tech n a few others (eminem, twizted etc). A lot of tech fans aint even hip hop fans, they cant appreciate the skill tech's showen off on every verse.

me being an artist i listened to this album n loved it, cuz like tech said...nobody can do what he does

Collabos are a great invention. Don't ever quit making collabos. Sickology was great! Don't ever make a mixtape.

I haven't heard Mix Plate. But O.G. is in heavy rotation on MTV Jams. My boys in Chicago called me about it.

Tech, there are plenty of people outside of the siccness that's lovin this album. Is it your best? Nope, but I like to think of these Collabos as some fresh new tracks to tide me over until a solo. If you listen and think about it, this Mixed Plate is still better than most rap put out now days.

Alright I made a thread that got Tech postin from overseas and Whitlock takin a break from his column. I retire. LOL. For real though I made this thread just to address the issue that Tech has for the last three years made an album JUST FOR K.C., exposing K.C. artists in addition to his solo work. In reality this is what most fans have been complaining about for years, they wanted him to do something for the town, and they wanted regular releases. On top of that this cat is constantly giving us shows in our cities. He is the hardest working rapper on the planet. Enjoy the parts that are for you.

you people must be musicians the way you talk about bad choruses and beats
I certainly recognize choruses and beats that don't appeal to me personally and wouldn't pay for a disc that I'd rarely listen to.

You're right. Fuck the haters making assumptions about your motivations. Let Tech do Tech.

Meanwhile, ID-X is gonna do ID-X, buy a couple Mixed Plate songs from iTunes and save $10 for something that does appeal to me.

Message to Tech N9ne and his real fans:

Fuck this thread starter and all the haters in here. I have no idea why some of you are even here. Yall are gonna make Tech pissed at the fans...I can already bet he is fed up with this rap shit. I know I would be for sure. I think he tours too much sometimes but even that is a "catch 22". The bottom line is that you can't please everyone...so only do what pleases you and the ones who truly care about you. I have been bumpin you since 95' and I just recently met you at the Chicago House of Blues show. I kept on running into you and Krizz before the concert in our hotel...I was staying at the Sax hotel and you were chillin in the lobby for a while...I wanted to stop n chat with you more than we already did, but then again we did not want to be rude. I tried to give you as much space as possible even though we both knew we were fan/artist. Plus I was going to the VIP anyways so I got to chop it up with you and you signed most of my catalog...including Celcius. But anyways, please dont listen to these dumb ass fans who take your music for granted and dont appreciate shit. I just don't want you to think that all the fans feel like these fuckers. Trust me, there are more loyal fans like me in this world than there are haters. We just don't always have time to share our opinions. But PLEASE...just keep doing you! && me and my boy will see you in the Rain!
