According to three sources close to the team, Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie will be keeping Hue Jackson as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2012.

My sources said it's ridiculous to think the new Raiders GM will fire Hue Jackson this year.

One of the sources said, "Reggie McKenzie and Hue Jackson are joined at the hip. They are proud to be on the same team. Hue is delighted he can now focus on what he does best, which is coach. Reggie and Hue have the same Sports Agent, Ken McGuire, to think there's a rift between these guys is simply ridiculous."

I've learned that McKenzie and Jackson are very good friends who see eye to eye on the changes the Oakland Raiders need to make to become a Super Bowl contender.

There are national reports that state McKenzie may consider replacing coach Hue Jackson. I'm not here to argue with other reporters, I just want to let our CSN viewers and readers know what I'm hearing. I realize you can't always trust your source, but in this case, I'm positive Hue Jackson is here to stay. He will remain the head coach of the Oakland Raiders for the 2012 season, and most likely, much longer.

The Raiders will introduce Reggie McKenzie as their new GM, during a press conference at 2pm Tuesday. You can watch the press conference on Comcast SportsNet California and csncalifornia.com.

Winston moss will fit in well with us. We could probably pick him up for far more cheaper then a jack del rio, or a mike nolan, I hear his name brought up a few times. Excited to hear who we will be interviewing and who we could pick up to start cleaning out the players who don't got it....

shit like this is why these trolls stay on this thread, mckenzie hasnt even been with the organizations front office for a week and youre over there saying hes better than balke... stfu, ignore the trolls and talk raider football! why keep going back and forth with these trolls?? you guys just bring it onto this thread by giving these trolls what they want then bitching about why they dont go away.
check it out little homie.. I've been posting on this forum for 10 years. So if i want to bash some niner faggots for constantly talking shit about the Raiders, I will.

i ignored about 20 comments before i finally fired back. and yes McKenzie> Baalke, based on McKenzie's body of work with the Packers ALONE.

Report: McKenzie ‘contemplating’ whether to retain Jackson

By Steve Corkran
Monday, January 9th, 2012 at 6:09 pm in Oakland Raiders.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said today that recently hired general manager Reggie McKenzie is contemplating whether to retain coach Hue Jackson.
McKenzie will be introduced by the Raiders on Tuesday, less than a week after he reached agreement to become the team’s general manager. It is uncertain whether Jackson will be part of the proceedings Tuesday.
From what I have been told from several people familiar with the situation, Jackson is expected back for a second season as the Raiders head coach, though McKenzie has not signed off on that as of yet.
Mortensen’s report cited unnamed league sources. Jackson and McKenzie have the same agent, Kennard McGuire. McKenzie and Jackson are scheduled to meet at some point, perhaps as soon as tonight or Tuesday morning, depending upon McKenzie’s arrival in the Bay Area.

Routt is not going anywhere. They have too much invested in him to just cut him. I think he's overpaid for sure, but he's not terrible. He's a solid #2... the problem is he's getting paid like a #1. He is our best CB right now. They need to bring someone to play the other side. They were talking aboutmoving Huff to CB opposite Routt... we'll see if that really happens. With a new GM and new DC who knows...I doubt they'll be going with Routt and Huff though.
