I would support them no matter what. I would even support the Raiders if they moved to Iran and President Ahmananahananajahad built a stadium solely to hide nuclear missles every year talkin bout "I wish Al Davis was alive, we need someone sane running this franchise again"

its hard to say, ive been a loyal fan my whole life, season ticket holder for 13 years. id prolly feel the same way i feel toward my ex wife, i still have love for the cunt, but fuck her at the same time...

the raider franchise is different though, cuz they have done it to you guys once already... i know my grandpa (god rest his soul) was the most die hard raider fan ive ever met and he said before he passed that if they moved again, he would piss on all his raider gear...

I really wouldn't want the Raiders to move anywhere besides LA, and definitely not out of cali, keep em here as long as I live in the bay, since the only other place I'd really live would be LA. I think it would make sense for LA to get an NFC team and have them go in the NFC West, the return of the LA Lambs perhaps? lol

the raiders number 1 choice is to build a stadium in the current site, but if not mark said there is a possibility for santa clara also to share 1 with the niners. also la. all possibilities

the city of oakland is giving the raiders and warriors the land around the coliseum so they can build new stadiums, just like they are trying to do with the A's. the raiders are the only ones i see staying in oakland or atleast really going to try and make things work here. the A's are going to SJ and warriors are going to the city within 5yrs.

Add Capers to Raiders’ rumor mill

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 5:23 pm in Oakland Raiders.

Defensive coordinator Dom Capers is the latest Green Bay Packers coach rumored to be a possibility to be the next head coach of the Raiders.

Capers name was floated by the NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora, who reported Thursday the Raiders were interested in talking to him once the Packers season is concluded.

General manager Reggie McKenzie was reportedly set to interview Miami Dolphins interim head coach Todd Bowles on Friday, while other Green Bay assistants on the radar include assistant head coach and inside linebackers coach Winston Moss, offensive coordinator Joe Philbin and quarterbacks coach Tom Clements.

McKenzie worked in the Green Bay organization for 18 years before being named the Raiders’ general manager.

Capers, 61, was the head coach of the Carolina Panthers from 1995-98 and the Houston Texans from 2002 through 2005 .Caper is 48-80 as a head coach, going 30-34 as the first coach of the expansion Panthers and leading the team to the NFC title game in its second year of existence. He as 18-46 in four years with the Houston Texans.

A respected defensive coordinator, Capers is a proponent of the 3-4 defense.

The Raiders at present are adhering to their policy of not confirming interviews or potential interviews.

hes the packers DC, packers are dead last in defense. i just dont see how he would be an improvement.
true. although the Packers had the 5th ranked defense last year with him as DC, which is crazy considering their record is way better this year. that just shows how good their offense is though

I do think the Packers defensive stats are somewhat misleading. They put up points quick, which leads to teams playing catch up and allowing the Packers to go into more of a prevent defense, but really anything would be an improvement over the defense the Raiders put on the field this past season

amazing post right there

not sure where mckenzie is headed, but capers nor bowles are wise choices, i think they should go after a coach who has proven himself already in the league. I think the 2 big names are Cowher and Billick, reggie should even consider dc's Fewell and Pagano. One thing is certain, the defense needs more improvement than the offense.
