The other day at work some jack ass for an engineer hit me with a last minute high priority electrical request.
He wanted a new outlet installed for a new copier he was getting. The only info I had was that the copier required a 120V outlet. The fucker didn't know whether the copiers' plug was the standard 15 amp vertical bladed, or the 20 amp type with one vertical and one horizontal blade.
So the fucker doesn't even know what he wants but he wants it done ASAP. I tell the idiot since I don't know which outlet configeration he needs, that I was going to assume it's the standard 15 amp type that all appliances use. The fucker gives me a smart ass remark sayin, "At this point, we can't just assume". Pendejo! I had no choice but to assume since he wanted the outlet installed ASAP....

If this passage was a parable then consistancy will tell you that the disciples wouldn't have understood it on their own....

Paul said that you change people's hearts by example. Meaning that it is what you do out of the kindness of your heart that causes people to open their eyes.
Jesus often critisized religious buffs of his time for being hypocrites. Religious buffs who often prayed out in the open so that people can see them. You see they didn't do it out of their love for God, they only did it to look good in front of people.

On top of that, Jesus made it very clear that he is the key to God.
He said that no man sees the Father with out going through him.
He is the ticket.... It is he who opens your eyes and mind which then leads to good works.
