lol wut?

don't let your dislike for the guy blind you. Dirrell is going to whoop abraham, he's going to be HUGE compared to abraham, people don't realize that. Dirrell is also faster, more athletic, more skilled than abraham and abraham doesn't have a big work-rate. On top of all that the fight is in Detroit!

Dirrell is about 2 inches taller that Jermain Taylor and look how big taylor was face to face with Abraham:

I actually think Dirrell is going to beat the crap out of Abraham, and I'm thinking about putting some money on it. I think his style is all wrong for Abraham.
Not a good bet, cause Abraham going to fuck up Dirrell.

ohh yeah and look what happened to Taylor, he left the tournament and Dirrell will be the next boxer leaving this tournament LOL

abraham makes boxers leave the tournament chuuuuuch

Taylor was KO'd months prior by Carl Froch and prior to that Kelly Pavlik. He's damaged goods and shouldn't have been in the tournament in the first place.

same here man, this shit is going to be dope.

has anyone watched the Showtimes Fight Camp 360 shows? It's similar to HBO's 24/7. Last episode I watched was about Dirrell & Abraham. They are both really good guys, abraham is a funny dude. Dirrell is on a mission though. Detroit.

^^good bet for you! I heard the referee is gonna be from Michigan, as well as one of the judges, and even though Sauerland filed a complaint, i doubt they're gonna change it. This will be on free tv, too. Pretty late in the night (4 am), but i got papers to write anyway, can't go out that day. Abraham is still undefeated, i hope it'll stay that way.

Yeah, the Fight Camp 360 episodes are just as good as the 24/7 episodes! They're dope as hell, and I like the whole international feel to them.

Go Dirrell!

I do like King Arthur too though...but I think he's going to get out boxed and out pointed.

If Sauerland complained they will change it, as there are rules to the Super Six.

The ref & judges apparently were suggested by Dirrell's promoter, it's up to Sauerland to deny or grant it.

IMO the only hope for Abraham is KO so they could have four blind monkeys and it wouldn't matter. Either dirrell is winning this by UD or Abraham is winning by knockout. I see no other possibilities.

Abraham-Dirrell Dispute Over: Agreement on The Officials

By Thomas Schlabe & Mark Vester

There was some drama earlier this week as super middleweight Arthur Abraham and his promoters, Sauerland Event, were upset over the selection of the officials for Saturday's fight with Andre Dirrell at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The Abraham side was upset over the possible selection of hometown judges, and a hometown referee, for the Dirrell fight.

The two sides have reached an agreement on the officials. The referee for the fight will be Laurence Cole of the United States. The judges will be Anek Hontoncan of Thailand, Guido Cavalleri of Italy and Frank Garza of the United States.

Dirrell better not waste his time Greco Roman wrestling and bullshitting though. I thought that he beat Froch but you can't waste time like that and expect to get an upset win, especially not in Europe.

Spend less time clinching. He was effective when he was moving and punching. Stick & move.

^^Froch is a come forward, aggressive fighter, Abraham is not. Dirrell should be able to box effectively from the outside and not have to clinch that often, although I think he most certainly should clinch if/when abraham gets inside.

Abraham has that winky shell defensive and he typically isn't that aggressive and often, nearly takes off entire rounds without doing much. He's a freakin banger though so as long as dirrell can avoid those occasional monster shots he has this fight in the bag!
