In Vegas? I know he's practically a God at Madison Square Garden, but when he fought Margarito, that crowd was Margarito all the way, or at least looked and sounded like it! (I wasn't actually there)

Although, I'm going and I am hoping to see as many fine Boricua women as possible.

I was at the Margarito fight, the Puerto Rican's just became really quiet towards the end. Fine ass girls though, everywhere. I was with my ex at the time. I flipped out and broke up with her on the strip because she didn't go to the weigh ins with me. Haha, took the fight a little too seriously. That fight was a rip though, I feel tricked now.

^ I wouldn't be shocked if he won. Pissed? Yeah...but not shocked. He's probably the most accomplished welterweight in the division, and he's in his prime.

This is a pick 'em fight, IMO.

A Cotto win isn't a shock to anyone who has more than 2 brain cells. He's a bigger, stronger fighter. He's also a true welterweight. And not a bum, either. He's arguably one of the top 2-3 welterweights right now, and without the Margarito loss, he'd probably be easily the top dog. I'm not a fan of his, and never have been, but I can respect his ability as a fighter, and although I'm rooting for Manny, and truly believe he can and will win, I wouldn't put any amount of money on it.

Cotto is a damn good fighter but his achilles heel has always been his defense and with how unorthodox Manny is there is going to be a knockout one way or the other. My money is on Cotto being the one to get KTFO.

If Pacman can punch as hard as Margarito I'd agree with you because Cotto is so bent on getting his shots off, he is always in harms way. Cotto did show me he could box and adjust to good speed when he fought a game Mosely. Cotto will wilt under pressure as seen in the Mosely fight, but specifically in the Margarito and Clottey fights. He is always dangerous in a brawl and Pacman better be ready to get hit with the hardest shots he's ever been hit with. The 2 advantages Pacman has over Cotto is the lack of confidence Cotto has shown in recent fights. He still looks lost, and part of that has to do with the internal issues with his uncle as well. The 2nd thing is Cotto doesn't know how to hold when he gets in trouble as evidenced in the Margarito and Clottey fight. He'd better fix that right away or he's gonna lose a 12 round bloody battle with Pacman. I just don't see Pacman being strong enough to knock Cotto out

I'm tired of people considering pac to be one of the all time greats already....but I feal like he hasnt boxed any one else in there prime, Cotto will be the biggest challenge for him.....by the way I also think pac lost that second fight against Marquez.

^^Eric Morales & marco antonio barrera were 28 & 29 years old when he first fought them. Cotto is 28. Marquez was clearly at his best (both fights). Ricky Hatton was 29 years old (sure he lost once to Floyd but by no means was he shot).

So really the only old person he fought was Oscar who is what, 35, 36? And that was less about age and more to do with Oscar basically quitting after the 2nd or 3rd round
