LMFAO.... at this dude's response to the fight. I didn't know the fight was $59.99 can't want to see the pay per view numbers it brought in:

Yep. And the acting was horrible. And what a boring ass fight. So boring that Lampley had to do his Pops Whitaker rendition of Bang Bang Bang to wake mufuckas up. Clottey could have knocked punkquiao the fuck out, but instead he chooses to hide behind his guard the whole time and throw less than 400 punches c'mon son. When he did throw he was fuckin pac up and busting him up easily, pac was not countering clottey like clottey claimed he was. that fucking sucker. All of the smiling and laughing and them mufuckas hugging like fruitcakes at the beginning of the 12 round!!!!! WTF. Yea clottey smiling because he was getting some extra money to take this "L". Africans can be persuaded to do anything for some extra cash. Clottey coming in dancing and shit while walkin his green mile. On the post fight interview, this mufucka was happy as shit to admit that he lost and was smiling and shit. Well I hope the money was worth it clottey. Bob Arum is a sneaky coniving mufucka and convinced clottey to throw this fight. Well at least he has the pactards out in full force. Even Lampley has been exposed as one of the biggest pactards on the planet. "Pac is amazing" "O look how great pac throws his punches" "O look at Pac's awesome bod" "Pac is a god". C'mon jim, I had to turn the commentary off. Can't believe I paid 59.99 for this shit.

"Africans can be persuaded to do anything for some extra cash."

Well fuck, sounds like some good ole fashioned self hate...hahaha

Pac threw over 100 punches per round, the same way Margarito overwhelmed Clottey by throwing so many punches. The blueprint on beating Clottey was made by Margarito, and Pac followed through with it.

LOL@ Clottey could have easily knocked out Pacquiao. Yeah, and Jose Luis Castillo could have won his fight too...

Right on, I seen it last night. I was wondering why they were laughing but I think it should be a good fight because Clottey seems like he really wants to win this fight. And we all know Pacman is all business once he hits the ring. I think this should be a good fight to tell you the truth.
Hahaha... I was wrong again (this time about it being a good fight). I hear it was a terrible fight.... I should of known Clottey wasn't coming to win. I was wondering what was so funny when they were facing off on HBO. Sitting across from each other laughing and giggling like little girls.... Thank god I didn't fork out over $50 bucks for this fight.

Pacman is such a big draw, they didn't even do a 24/7 series on HBO.

Now the real fight is coming up (Shane vs Floyd) and I'll pay whatever I gotta pay to see it.

I betcha I won't be wrong about Pacman vs Floyd if the fight ever happens. Or even Shane vs Pac for that matter..... so if Pacman fight either Floyd or Shane, that pattern will be broken. LOL

Pacman vs Floyd= Floyd by wide UD
Pacman vs Shane= Shane by "brutal" knockout

^ Well there's a reason why they fight the fights Tony!

I'd love to see either fight...and it would be hard to call.
For you it would be hard to call.... For me it would be easy mayne. Shane over Pacman by brutal KO. But the fight would have to be at 147 not no BS catchweight. Floyd would box circles around Pacman and make him look bad. I think Floyd would whoop Pac like Morales did....

Pac would get knocked out if he stepped in the ring with Shane. Pac better hope Floyd wins so he doesn't have to face Mosely.

Neither.... Read the response again, I didn't pay for the fight. I cut and pasted a post that someone else posted about the fight.
Yeah, because that "review" wasn't biased at all. LMAO @ Punkquiao

I'm not sure how anyone can hate the guy who is practically bringing the sport of boxing back into the limelight by delivering action packed fights for casual fans.

I personally think you're a fag if you can't enjoy a Pacquiao fight. He comes to fight and brings it every time. What more can you ask for?

Cotto & Pacquiao were laughing sitting across from eachother on the HBO shit too, tony, and that was a great fight. Pacquiao and his foes tend to always have a high respect for eachother, because Pac his humble and people respect that.

Further, you still haven't even watched the fight yet you keep commenting on it like you're an expert on the matter and you cut & paste someone else's comment as if that means a damn thing.

Shit, pac dominated the fight, 12 rounds to 0. If floyd dominated a top 5 welterweight like that you'd be drooling floyd cum from your mouth but that fact is floyd hasn't fought a top 5 welterweight in four years.

I'm not mad homie, my post was awesome.

It's interesting how Floyd boxes a shutout against Marquez, a lightweight, and it's a masterful performance, but when Pac puts a shutout against a top 5 welterweight, shit's a dud and gets a "I'm glad I didn't waste my money on that shit" response from you. Fascinating indeed.

^ So true.

Sure, Pacquiao was and should've been the favorite, but no one has ever even beaten Clottey convincingly, let alone shut him down completely.

@Tony its not that he didn't come to win, its that he couldn't find a way to do so at any point in the fight. You don't think he would have wanted the fame and recognition that would have come with beating Pacquiao, as opposed to just fighting him and losing?

To answer your question, no I don't think he wanted it bad enough (I'm hearing he pulled the same thing he did in his previous losses). I didn't see the fight, but I'm hearing that Clottey's corner was telling him to fight and throw punches, go for the knockout and he was shaking his head, no in response.
I would have thought Clottey wanted to win but from the sounds of it looks like he showed up to fight and not to win. The trainer for Clottey said he didn't think Clottey won a single round and from one of the judges scorecards and Dan's from ESPN, it looks like that is what happened (Clottey showing up to fight and not to win).

Clottey's gameplan was to let pacquiao do his thing for the first few rounds and he thought pacquiao would slow down. He said this before the actual fight and he stated this again after the fight.

Pacquiao never slowed down, in fact he picked it up.

Clottey couldn't deal with the non-stop punches that pacquiao threw, just like Winky Wright couldn't deal with the non-stop punches paul williams threw (I say this cuz winky and clottey both have the same style, that peek-a-boo shell defense shit). Pacquiao also was never really there to be hit, even though he was throwing 100 punches per round he was doing this while moving side to side, clottey couldn't set up his counters.

Clottey clealy didn't want to get KO'd either and after the fight he said this, he felt like if he opened up he was going to get knocked out.

Clottey fought how he always fights .. it was like Williams vs. Winky. Clottey & Winky let people throw at them then shoot back when the person in front of them isn't set to punch back. The difference is they never had that chance against either Pacquiao or Williams, both guys either put together constant flurries or were set to fire back as soon as they finished and Clottey and Winky aren't the type of guys that are gonna take the chance to punch in between that.

It's just the way it is .. Pacquiao fought a smart fight .. it wasn't all that exciting but it's boxing and fights like this happens. Clottey isn't forced to be someone he isn't, it would've been nice, but he's just not that guy.

Everyone knocked Pacquiao for not fighting any contenders at 140 and just bouncing with the lineal title. Pacquiao/Clottey was a fight between two high level welterweights and however these type of fights turn out it's never a waste. I'll never knock a fight that gives further clarification within a division no matter how unexciting the fight was.

We've already went over Pay Per View numbers for Mayweather and Pacman and Mayweather has the numbers to prove he's the biggest draw.

Mayweather vs Marquez outsold Pacman vs Marquez and they fought twice, LMFAO!!
Mayweather vs Hatton outsold Pacman vs Hatton
Mayweather vs De La Hoya outsold Pacman vs De La Hoya

those are facts^^^^ check the pay per view numbers for yourself.

If you think I think Mayweather is God then you must think Pacman is God. I don't think Mayweather is God but he gets hated on waaaay too much.
maybe you missed the part where i said right "NOW" please re-read. my response it to you saying pac needs mayweather to hype up his status which is fuckin idiotic lmao. pac is on top of boxing right NOW not mayweather.
