Am I the only one that wants to see Pac vs Marquez one more time "unfinished business"

Marquez has been the only beat Pac, YES, beat Pac.
I'd love to see that fight, though Pac would probably win again.

Either way, Pac's dominance as of late speaks a great deal of how great JMM is himself. No one's put up a fight vs Pac like JMM has, dude's a legend in his own right and Pac's dominance should illustrate that for people.

^^Pacquiao would knock marquez out at this point. Marquez belongs at 135 and pacquiao isn't going back down so if the fight were to happen it would be for pac's belt at 147.

Marquez would get knocked out by amir khan at this point, imo. He struggled with Diaz at 135, anything above that is just too much weight for JMM. All the top guys at 140/147 beat marquez, imho.

Marquez is a warrior, but I agree with you.

Pac's got too much power right now and Marquez can't move up like Pac can, no one can fuck...

What do you think would be a good fight for Marquez right now then? Hatton retired, Edwin Valero? That would be tight...

I think I read he decided to go back to 135, which is the best thing he can do. He should take on Michael Katsidis because it would be entertaining and a relatively easy fight for him. He's had some tough fights and I think he deserves to have an easy one right now and a chance to retire on top (if he decides too). After that, than maybe Edwin Valero (although he's at 140 now). Ali Funeka would be a tough fight.

this was a close fight. clottey landed better and more powerful headshots. pacquiao landed the better body punches. it could've gone either way. i do have to question pacquiao's punching power against bigger opponents, however.

Reguardless even if Pacman beat Mayweather or Mosley. You would still sit there and talk shit.
I consider Floyd and Shane the top fighters in the WW division. If Manny fought and beat the winner of the fight between Shane and Floyd then I would give Manny credit and say he's the best at WW and number one pound for pound. So go slap yourself for making a stupid comment like that. You don't know what I would do or say if Manny beat either one. Assumptions make an ass out of u and me. So quit it!

You have something personal against him
I don't like when fools talk about how they would/could do something and don't do it when they have the opportunity to. Yeah, I have something against Manny because he had the chance to get down with Floyd and didn't do it and punked out over a 2 week blood test. Like Floyd said, "be a boss and call your own shots" instead of always saying "talk to my promoter"

Man, you should be giving pac props NOW though tony, and you don't really. The fact he is even fighting at welterweight and beating top guys is nothing less than amazing. Already he's beat Cotto, Clottey and ODH, two top 5 welterweights, which is a better WW resume then Mayweather in four years!

Further, pac is on a 12 fight winning streak against top guys, all time greats and future hall of famers in multiple weight classes.

Clottey - top 5 WW, solid first title defense
Cotto - #1 WW, WBO WW title (future hall of fame fighter)
Hatton - #1 LW, IBO & Ring belts (future hall of fame fighter)
De La Hoya - Pac moves up from 135 to 147 (future hall of fame fighter)
David Diaz - WBC Lightweight title, top 5 LW
Marquez - WBC super featherweight title (future hall of fame fighter)
Barrera - WBC International super featherweight title (future hall of fame fighter)
Jorge Solis - WBC International super featherweight title
Erik Morales - WBC International super featherweight title (future hall of fame fighter)

Oh right, because Mayweather never had a history of saying what he would do to a certain somebody that he never fought! Jesus christ tony you're such a hypocrite when it comes to pac and mayweather. Floyd has a long ass history of ducking & dodging opponents whereas pac doesn't.

Two sides to the story comrade, but you fail to realize this time & time again. Floyd could have accepted pac's 20 day cut off and been happy that pac even agreed to random blood testing in the first place since what floyd wanted isn't even required.

All that is pretty impressive for Pacman. I'm pretty sure if you dug up Floyd's accomplishments over the years and the fighters he has waxed you would find his are pretty impressive as well and he's NEVER lost, something that you can't say about Pacman. I feel Pac ducked Money Mayweather. And while we're on winning steaks let's not forget Floyd is on a 40 fight win steak.

So if they (Money Mayweater and Pacman) end up in the ring.... who would you pick to win the fight? And would you put a straight across bet on it? Winner takes all?

Manny Pacquiao’s camp calls out Floyd Mayweather

ARLINGTON, Texas — Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum went ahead and made it official Saturday. Floyd Mayweather is a chicken.

"Floyd Mayweather is ducking Manny Pacquiao," Arum said.

Arum, Pacquiao and Jerry Jones celebrated late into Sunday morning after a thrilling night of boxing at Cowboys Stadium. Pacquiao maintained his WBO welterweight title with an overwhelmingly unanimous decision against Joshua Clottey.

Pacquiao’s utter dominance against a woefully cautious Clottey only renewed talks of a super bout between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Mayweather would be wise to jump on the PacMan money train before he gets left behind.

Arum said Pacquiao will make around $17-$20 million off of Saturday’s fight once the pay-per-view totals are complete.

The Pacquiao-Clottey fight is scheduled for replay on HBO at 10 p.m. Saturday.

A Mayweather bout could certainly produce the richest purse in boxing history.

Jones confirmed last week he’d initially bid $25 million to host the Mayweather-Pacquiao bout.

However, Pacquiao isn’t going to wait.

Mayweather is slated to fight Sugar Shane Mosley in May.

Pacquiao said he’d take on Mosley, as well, should he knock off Mayweather.

"It’s up to my promoter, whoever he gives me as an opponent I will fight him," Pacquiao said. "My job is to prepare and fight in the ring, and that’s my promoter’s job to give me a fighter."

It’s getting harder to see things from the Mayweather camp’s point of view. The Pacquiao-Mayweather fight was yanked after Mayweather’s team demanded stringent blood testing, which isn’t required by the sanctioning bodies of Nevada, California or Texas.

Arum and Freddy Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, repeatedly said last week that the reason for having sanctioning is so that state-run organizations create the guidelines, not the fighters.

Pacquiao’s camp filed a libel lawsuit against Mayweather in response to his allegations of using performance-enhancing drugs.

It doesn’t help Mayweather’s case that he didn’t insist on such measures for the Mosley bout. Mosley admitted using BALCO designer steroids, although he claimed he "unknowingly" did so.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he’d love to return to Cowboys Stadium and left that up to Jones.

As for Clottey, he discovered firsthand the speed of Pacquiao’s punches.

"A fight with Mayweather is going to be very, very tough for Mayweather, very, very tough," Clottey said. "He’s fast, that’s what he does, he throws punches and Mayweather doesn’t throw punches too much. But Mayweather leads, he always jabs. So I think Pacquiao would give him a lot of problems, a lot."

Of course floyd has a lot of great accomplishments too, but you act as though just because you think floyd's accomplishments are better than pac's (which is up for debate) therefor you can hate on pac and not floyd, as if they are the only two fighters in the world.

And being undefeated in boxing typically, if not always, means you're not fighting the best opponents. Joe Calzaghe 46-0. Sven Ottke 34-0. Rocky Marciano 49-0.

The best fighters of all time lose. Why? Because they constantly fight the best and you cannot win them all, no matter how good you are. Sugar Ray Robinson (greatest fighter of all time) 19 losses. Ali 5 losses. Sugar Ray Leonard 3 losses. etc etc etc

And for the record watch the first Castillo fight and tell me floyd should not have lost that fight.

So if they (Money Mayweater and Pacman) end up in the ring.... who would you pick to win the fight? And would you put a straight across bet on it? Winner takes all?
I've always maintained floyd should win based on style and his size advantage over pac but it's a close call.

I'm not acting if though Floyd's are better. Just calling a spade a spade bruh.... You're acting like Pac's accomplishments are better that's why you only posted Pac's. If you're going to post accomplishments then post them for both fighters because when you only post for one it makes you look biased. When you mention winning steak(s), mention winning streaks that "both" fighters are on.

now if he actually did what he said he was going to do most of the time, i'd give em a pass. but he doesn't!

lol i didn't list floyd's because I was making a point how you act as if pac hasn't done anything special and IF he beats floyd/shane then you'll give him props, when the simple fact is he deserves his props right now. He's dominated his opposition against elite fighters going up in weight class.
