actually I still favor floyd a bit against pac I was off on that 50/50 remark, that's not honest on my part. styles make fights we all know that so cotto doing well against floyd obviously doesn't mean pac would.
but I will say this - floyd was more vulnerable then I've probably ever seen him, he's much easier to be hit and it showed. now, he's not using his legs like he has in the past and whether that's him fighting this way on purpose, age or both, whatever the reason he's standing in front of his opponents and that obviously gives the opponent more opportunities than in the past when he would pot shot and stay out of harms way.
pac is a southpaw, which can be effective against floyd's defense, he throws alot of punches and most of all he has the stamina to fight 12 full rounds unlike cotto who faded a bit down the stretch.
all of that tells me its a fight that is closer than some may think. I also don't think a jab is essential in beating floyd, as Castillo was effective various different ways (although floyd fought different back then so that's kind of irrelevant now).
of course it may never happen and this may end up just being another fantasy fight.
