If thats what u take from what I said then thats on u!! Deion is the greatest corner ever period!! he took away half the field every game he played! Every opposite QB said they would not throw his way! he would shut u down period!! I have never seen a corner close to the shutdown skills or speed that he had! He tackled when needed but he didnt need to tackle that much cause he never gave up shit! Trust me when people look to get corners they look for coverage skills more than tackling ability lol!! Got Em!!!
I agree with CZAR in regards to Deion being underpaid and how great of a corner he was. Deion tackled when he needed to but like CZAR said he didn't give up too many catches. He wasn't a cover 2 corner so whatever team he was on didn't expect him to tackle. Who ever he covered he took out of the game (except for Jerry Rice). Deion shut his side of the field down... QB's were scared to test him and when they did he made them pay. Deion Sanders is one of the greatest defenders off all time. The best corner to ever play hands down!
I remember seeing T.O. burning Hall for T.D's twice in one game. When T.O. was in Philly, Hall played him pretty good but when T.O. went to Dallas he was burning Hall and spitting in his face. T.O. is arguably the best receiver in the game. Hall is still pretty good but I don't know if I would have given up a 2nd round pick and $70 million for him though. I would have taken my chance and drafted a cornerback because that 2nd round pick is high. And we could have saved a lot of money. But the deal is pretty much done, so as Raider fans we'll roll with it.
Champ Bailey is better than Deion Sanders at "tackling" and that's pretty much it. Champ was getting burned this past year. He gave up the winning TD against the Bears and Brett Favre threw a bomb his way and the receiver he was covering burned him for a TD. There's no way Champ was/is a better overall cornerback than Sanders.

Man just stop it!! Deion shut down whoever he faced with the exception of Rice a couple of times and he also had good games against Rice also! I mean they played twice a year for a while and they both had their games feel me!! But u keep talkin about tackling! Deion didnt need to tackle those recievers cause they never got the ball! A corner's job is to cover first and foremost! That way it makes it easier on the defense to not have to double and do other things with the remaining defenders instead of havin to put to much help on a wideout! there are a few corners better than Bailey anyway. He aint even 2nd!! And soli I do think Clement is better than Hall but Aso shits on Clements and Hall bein a #2 is monsterous so yall situation is much better!!
