Chris Mortensen, of ESPN.com, reports Atlanta Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall could receive a contract from the Oakland Raiders for around seven years and $70 million, once the trade is finalized between the two teams. The team's are also discussing more compensation than just a second-round pick for the Raiders to acquire Hall.

why u so mad about nothing? i think he's a good CB and he would be #1 on alot of teams, all i'm saying is people overrate him thats all and that aint his fault or nothing. so if anything i'm hating on critics and not him. so once again it's a good pick up and it should help out ur squad.

the reason i'm in raiders threads is because imma football fan and i always like to see what all the teams are doing, i'm in every teams thread and the reason i post in raiders threads more then niners or something is because the raiders are doing more things in the off season to talk about. so calm ur nerves i wasnt tryin to down play hall at all. just disagreeing what people thinks he is right now.

for the record the only really unearned praise dhall has received has been from his peers. especially champ bailey and deion sanders. so overrated is kinda "overstated". unless your opinion of the cb position is more relevant than that of sanders or bailey.

IMO deion was worth the 10 mil simply cause he was a complete corner and had everything going for him and he was an outstanding returner. however if all he did was great defense then he wouldnt be worth that much in my eyes

I read a Peter King Article yesterday on the celly (SI)

And he had a few interesting things about Hall, i dont remember the exact words, but he asked a OC in the NFC south, he said he has flash and big play capabilities, but plays average...
