I'm not saying I necessarily agree with it, but building a team from the CB positions is an Al Davis style team...
true, but at what cost? how the hell are the raiders gonna sign their number 1 pick? and are raider fans ready to say they are rebuilding? i mean so much money tied up in one reciever, one safety and one corner.what about the rest of the problems?

"shut down" corners dont get smoked like he does on the regular....hall isnt even in the top 10 based on metrics (the ONLY statistical way to compare dbs)......no question on whos going to be the #1 corner on the raiders if this actually happens....i think hall could make big plays as a #2.....hes on the line of good and great he just makes TO MANY lapses.....

I wont read all 9 pages, but this pretty much sums it up....and I am a Falcons fan. DHall was more hype than substance. he wasnt even close to being the DB that previously wore #21.

I watched Deangelo Fall get burned WAAAAAY too much, then he blamed it on the schemes.....

It wouldnt be such a bad move, but they paid him Champ Bailey money.

Hey man, those questions are going through my head as well. Best believe shit would be getting done differently if I had anything to say about it, but I don't. So I'll just be a good fan like the rest of us and wait until Al Davis hangs his cleats, or himself...

^^^^got me wrong i think it can go very well for ya. but it's a gamble and what if it doesnt? then u dont have that secind wave of people to rely on. like when the pats got stalworth we didnt fuck around and got welker, then got a lil more nervous and grabbed moss ya know. i feel the raiders should be spending less money on these cats and try and grab more depth to shit but thats my opinion and ur the die hard raider fan so i'm assuming u know more than me, just throwing my 2 cents in ya know

Al Davis's win now attitude won't let him rebuild. we have some real solid key players in place now, but there are just other issues that still need to be addressed such as the line & coaching. I have confidence Kiffen can make something happen with what we have, its just will Al let him do what needs to be done in order to do so

This was a good signing so let's see what happens fellaz...

The good thing about this trade is that he's young and not even in his prime yet.

Hall actually has alot better numbers the first few years of his career than Asomugha. Asomugha really didn't do squat until a couple seasons ago when he had that break out year. I know numbers dont mean everything but in that catagory Hall has been a more consistant playmaker throughout his career so far and I expect him to get better.

what "numbers"??? DB metrics are the only way to compare corners and hall has never sniffed the top 15 his whole career....hall may of had more ints but other then that i dont know what numbers you speak of

not at all.....everyone knows PB doesnt mean more then the HS prom king winner....hes a high profile player yes, doesnt mean hes good at what he does....im not sayin dhall cant get it done but he has proven he is no were near the level he thinks he is
NO ONE is near the level he thinks he is. He has an ego problem, much like many other NFL players. Doesn't take away talent, but it can make them waste it.

Numbers don't tell the story, because you could have a bad-ass CB on a weak D and his numbers won't reflect his talent, so be aware when looking at statistics. Look at the context as well!
thats the thing im not talkin about stats im talkin metrics.....pacman the last year he played was #2 in metrics with the 2nd WORST pass rush in football...miss me with the bullshit when i type somethin up i know what im talkin about.....i dont type of random nothiness for the sake of doing it
