that's all fine and dandy but he promised he would fight the winner of the coto/margarito fight. And once margarito won, oscar backed out. Said he doesn't want to fight any mexicans as an excuse. LOL, why wont he pass the torch like Julio César Chávez did for Oscar??
You gotta understand that's why people are irritated with him. He made a promise and backed out because Margarito happens to be his own size. Three opponents in a row are coming up in weight to face oscar.

thats a good point. i did want to see him fight magarito especially after how margarito handled cotto. I honestly thought oscar had a chance to beat cotto or margarito. i wish oscar would fight one of the two. i think oscar vs margarito would make oscar just as much money if not more then the pac man fight. the problem is oscar has always been hated by the majority of mexicans since he destroyed chavez. Can you imagine if he fucks up margarito how much they will hate his ass now. Its a no win situation for him. on the other hand he thinks if he beats pac man the mexican audience will accept him. Just my 2 cents

I mean he had great fights taking on the best opponents like Trinidad, shane mosely, Quartey, Hopkins, Vargas, Mayorga, etc. Back then when he beat Chavez, he was still seen as this young kid. People didn't like to see a young kid come along and beat a legend the way he did.

well whenever oscar fights it's going to be business. That's just the way it is, he's the biggest star of the sport and always has hella viewers.
But with that being said that's always been the case with boxing though, going back to the early 1900's it's always been mostly about business, you can go back and see some of the all time greats from back then duck certain fighters for bigger paydays. It's part of the game unfortunately, which is why it's special when we do see those no fear type of fighters that fight anyone/anytime.

oscar could get gassed out too since he'll be shrinking his 170 pound body to make 147 pounds. I seriously wonder if he'll even make 147. I heard Pacquiao made something in the contract so that Oscar will be fined a million dollars for every pound he comes in over weight...

For those that don't know who that is, he is a trainer that helped boxer move up in weight with his style of strength and conditioning training. yeah that's a good addition. Mackie is also an oldschool psychopath. With Hopkins, he said the idea early was to have bernard break Tarvers jaw. He said he consulted doctors on the best way to break a jaw, leading up the fight. With Jones against Ruiz, he said the idea early was to break Ruiz' nose so that he'd have trouble breathing (which jones did in the first or second round). Then for Jones to attack the chest, not body, the chest, as a way to do "reverse CPR" which would seriously effect Ruiz breathing.
This is good. Hopefully he'll teach pacquiao some of these nasty tricks as well. I want to see oscars face split.
