Angulo might never be the same again. He took some big shots and mentally he has to be upset that he didn't finish Kirkland in the 1st.

I don't think for one second that the WBC makes Canelo fight Kirkland and DLH damn sure doesn't want that fight to happen.

Kirkland was impressive tonight. He got floored amazingly hard in the 1st round and came back in a fantastic to blow Angulo down. Angulo looked disgustingly slow and was nowhere near ready for the kind of fight that Kirkland was ready for. Very good fight.

I disagree with Harold on that. I thought the 38-37 Kirkland didn't make any sense and was a horrible card but Harold was going apeshit over 39-37 Kirkland after 4 rounds, all that means is that that judge considered Angulo's knockdown + winning the first 2 1/2 minutes of the round bigger than Kirkland's knockdown and he correctly gave the other 3 rounds to Kirkland. Nothing wrong with that scorecard at all.

Bute looked good and Johnson looked completely ineffective and in typical Johnson fashion said "I thought I won the fight" after the fight ended. If anyone didn't watch the Showtime card I'd watch it strictly for the Cote/Teron fight, nasty KO there.

No need for a rematch Angulo also got killed. Canelo vs Kirkland make it happen. Cote vs Teron was good fight. Cote has power and quick hands.

Naner12- I'm telling you if a fighter loses to Kermit, then to me that means you're not all that good of a fighter and Kirkland proved my point last night. I hate Kermit, sorry I had to say it.. lol

yup i remember wen ishida was beating on kirkland canelos team and de la hoya were happy. they dont like him.....kirkland vs vanes? cant wait to see this guy fight againg

vanes aint taking that fight. he'll say he was low balled again like he always does then fight some bum for a tenth of the money.

You know what I see happening? Golden Boy putting Lara against Kirkland. Lara could probably beat kirkland, he's technically sound and a good boxer. He could out-box kirkland. So I can see golden boy making that fight in order to save canelo from kirkland. I think they'd much rather have canelo vs lara than canelo vs kirkland.
