The Kirkland fight isn't my sole reasoning. I've seen Kirkland get hit clean by better punchers and take it well. I'm sure Julio cracks harder than Ishida and he landed well on Kirkland and he was fine.

My point is I think this is just a bad style match up for Kirkland and I think he goes sooner than later in this fight. I don't expect it to be a long lasting war and I'm not counting someone that hits as hard as Kirkland completely out of a fight I just consider Angulo to be much better and he should be able to get Kirkland out of there early.

Angulo was about to get deported that's why he has not been fighting. My thinking is that if Angulo had any punching power he would have hurt Kermit and made him quit like Margarito made him do twice. But Kirkland being dropped by lite punching Ishida is crazy. That's why I call it a 50 -50 fight they both have the same fighting style and they both have questions to answer.
Didn't see that till just now. This is faulty logic. Cintron stayed on the outside and jabbed him up while Angulo just chased him around the ring not being able to do much. Kirkland is not the guy to copy Cintron's game plan going into this fight. I'd agree if he was blasting away on Cintron like Margarito was but he never came close and Cintron isn't going to quit in a fight he's winning easily.

Ok that's cool. I just think the Ishida KO may have been a fluke. But if Kirkland can't hurt Angulo there's no way he'll win. It will come down to chin, who takes who's punchers better since both will be eating leather.

My logic is faulty because I hate Kermit for jumping out the ring against Paul Williams. I'm a Kermit Cintron hater.. I see this fight coming down to who punches the hardest because both fighters have no defense. And who has the better chin, because both guys are going to land punches. It should be a WAR for 6 - 8 rounds.

My heart me got to go with Kirkland working the body for the KO win. But my mind is telling me El Perro is going to be too much for James. I"m going with my mind I got Angulo 6th round KO..
