that was a great ffight. Khan should have went to the body more he was fucking maidana up for the first half of the fight. still shaky chin in the 10th on but maidana knocks out everyone and the guys he doesn't knock out he knocks down, so khan proved something there by hanging in there, a couple years ago he would have died.

mares vs vic was a banger as well. two of the better fights of the year fasho.

trips, maidana won 3 or 4 rounds tops. I don't know how you could score that for maidana. Yeah khan was badly hurt in the 10th but you don't lose a fight because you got hurt and won every other round.

maidana won the 3rd round, the 10th, and you can make a case for the 11th and the 12th.

look at the punch stats at one point khan landed 160 to maidana's 60.

Add to that khan scored a knock down in the first and a point was deducted from maidana in one of the mid rounds.

no way maidana won.

If there was any bad scoring it was the ortiz-peterson fight. khan clearly won I think you're probably drunk or something.

Giving Maidana 5 rounds is going out on a ledge.
Even at that Khan still wins the fight.
Throw in two 10-8 rounds...the decision is nothing to argue about.

Khan showed a lot in this fight. Great move on switching camps. You can tell after a couple of fights it has totally reshaped him and paid off.

Vic lost the fight but he is also right about the ref not doing a good job.

wait, what? I'm seriously trying to understand.

so your argument is that the fight should have been stopped, not that khan won a decision? that's very confusing. Khan never went down, never touched the canvas, he survived...and you wanted the fight stopped???

I'm not arguing the hype of khan or popularity, I'm just talking about the fight...

Khan better stay away from Bradley and Alexander.. Anybody with some boxing skills and a little bit of power is going to give Khan big problems.

Khans lucky he made it out alive. I was pulling for Khan at the beginning of the fight and he impressed me when he was actually throwing punches but he's to much of a runner for me and Maidana showed more heart and I ended up pulling for him cuz he got hurt and took some good shots and kept on coming like it was nothing. I demand a rematch lol

anyone else notice some of the habits pacquiao has khan does? he should stop because clearly not all men are created equal haha.

for example, pacquiao when he stops moving from side to side he tends to put his guard up high and allows his opponent to throw punches, and what always gets through his high guard are uppercuts, they split right through. Clottey landed them, Cotto and Margarito. But it's pacquiao, so he just eats them, then continues on like it's nothing.

Khan does the exact same thing. When he stops moving laterally, he stands still on his feet, straight up, with a high guard, and he allows Maidana to throw punches and the uppercut kept getting through. I think all those shots khan ate when he was like that is what wore him down a bit and is what was responsible for him getting nearly knocked down in the 10th. Pacquiao likes to prove he's macho but I don't think khan should since his chin is still a liability.

Also khan does that little pacquiao raises both hands after he gets hit thing.

Some bad habits that really only work for pacquiao

Khan impressed me. I think he was also trying to prove the notions of him having an iffy chin wrong. He's still got a ways to go, at 24, but I think he's going to be a special fighter.

Thought that the Ortiz vs Peterson draw was fair.
