I can't go as far to say that, at all.
Montiel hasn't lost since 06, and that was a close split decision.

Comparing caliber opponents.

They both beat Maldanado.
Montiel KO'd him in 3 while Donaire KO'd him in 8.

They both beat Concepcion
Montiel KO'd him in 3 while Donaire won a 12 round decision.

Donaire beat Vic in 5, but Montiel beat Hasegawa in Japan in 4.

On paper Montiel has a better resume, plus he's a vet in there. Plus his body work is devastating. I think Donaire could win as well, but I don't know about blowing him out of the water or anything. It's going to be a really competitive fight. They have both looked really good lately.

Montiel has a good resume, but I'm going by skills, Donaire's size and his speed. I haven't been this confident about a fight since Dirrell vs Abraham. If the odds are good I'm going to drop a ton of money on Donaire. I feel he's very under appreciated right now because he's gotten a high pound 4 pound ranking with a semi weak resume, so everyone's been hatin on him for that but forget he's one of the most talented guys in the game right now.

His hand speed is crazy, and that's going to be the difference in this fight. It's going to be way to much for Montiel. Montiel has never faced anyone with anything close to his hand speed. Here is Donaire just fucking around (imitating Pac, roy jones and floyd) and his hand speed is a blur:

I agree, his hand speed is going to be a huge factor in the fight.
I will also admit that I am one of the ones that have always criticized his PFP ranking.
I hold him higher than I have in the past as well.

We shouldn't sleep on Montiel though. He's a bad dude...
If he can work the body then he's got this one.

Donaire is the safe bet, but I consider Montiel a fairly live dog. If Montiel won, it shouldn't really be considered an upset.

How is your water intake? Have you been checked for parasites? You do know what the last resort is right?

He's not a bum he's Eduardo Garcia representing Pachuca, Guanajuato, Mexico.
He KO'd Enrique Luna in 2 rounds. That guy was undefeated (1-0) until he met Eduardo!

No shit huh.
Montiel should cancel that fight...
