it all boils down to what hopkins has left in the tank.
there is nothing pascal has that hopkins can't exploit. Pascal lunging in this his punches. His wild, looping sloppy 3-4 punch combo's. All easily countered. Runs out of steam late in fights.
But at 2 weeks from 46 years old, you just don't know. I hope hopkins has enough left and brings the belts back
I don't recall ever seeing a fighter look so shook at a stare down besides Mike Tyson opponents, lol hopkins got the mental edge now his body just needs to follow...
lol i actually feel sorry for Pascal, that has to be embarrassing and hate to see a young champ get competely outclassed but thats what is gonna happen on Saturday.
The last time Hopkins stopped anyone was DLH in 04.
The last time he stopped someone his size was in 02.
He's just trash talking about saying Pascal will quit.
So let's rule out him stopping Pascal.
Is he going to win a decision in Montreal? No way...he would have to dominate him as bad as he dominated Pavlik. Well, not that bad but at least win 8+ rounds convincingly.
I think Saturday is when Hopkins shows his age.
Pascal is faster, stronger and has better reflexes.
His quick reflexes will make up for his lack of tricks and experience.
I'm tired of the BHOP pre-fight posturing. Talks big crap or pushes someone in the face even then fights mostly defensive. I'm not buying it. He will fight defensively and cautious trying to tie Pascal up or counter.
