If his elbow isn't bothering him then he should go for at least 30+, win or lose. LeBron has to be the most athletically gifted basketball player ever in terms of "physical" skills. But I don't think he has that mental toughness that Jordan, Kobe, Duncan has.

The last game was a pathetic performance if his elbow wasn't hurting. We see Kobe is feeling better now after battling through injuries and he's turned it up a notch.

ok but there was never too much talk about Jordan leaving to chase money was there..he stayed, he waited and let the team build around him, and in turn he made the players around him better. Other then Dennis Rodman, how many players were truly better then average on the bulls???? Pippen was a good player yes, but Jordan made him the player he was, i dont believe he would have had the same career if he was never with Jordan. kerr, bj armstorn, longley, cartwright, kucoc come on people....this wasnt a first class core around jordan.....yet he made them better. Wasnt Jameson suppose to come in and light a flame under this team...ummm hmmmm where is the leader to keep the flame lit? shaq, and big z should beat most other teams at center on any given night except for very few teams, but even then, that leaves James to make shaq and z better players...not happening yet. Mo Williams for as bad as yo utry to make him out to be, he is a very very servicable player to pair with James...why is he not playing well then???? no leadership on court...whos job is that? If yo uwant to be considered the best player in the league You have to have heart, you have to want to win, you have to be a true leader, you have to take over when things are going wrong. So far when its not the regular season Lebron has not proven any of that in his career. And this is against the (l)East, imagine if he was playing with this team in the west, we probably wouldnt even be having the conversation of whos better lebron or Kobe.
Yer bein a nerd in this thread. lol @ rippin on lebron. only time shaq duz shit when lebron pick n rolls em gets doubled and hands it 2 em 4 an uncontested 2 hand jam. lakers wud b great wit lebron also.

when he is scoring 30+ a game his elbow is fine but as soon as he has a bad game oh it must be his elbow
If you think something is not wrong you must be a lop of some sort who never played sports. Lebron James is the best player in basketball. I am fully aware players have bad games, even the best. But last night just wasn't right. He played with absolutely no passion and was dogging it most of the game. For him to only take 3 shots in the first half is unheard of. Something is not right. Whether that is his elbow or something else, I do not know. But Lebron needs to get it done tonight.

Damn scary nailed it, if lebron wasnt in the eastern conference he most likely not be mvp, I seen him get so many bullshit calls/noncalls to go his way this season its unbelievable and at the end of the day the refs can't even help him get to the finals at this point.

If Lebron James continues to have his ups and downs in the playoffs, have some great games, but then also have horrible down games, and then has such a nonchalant attitude about why his play isnt up to par and about his leadership role, do you think he will start to get the doubters and get the label of the great player who can't win the big game or can't win the championship? Similar to Peyton Manning, who may be fundamentally the smartest player in Football, but he has that bad rap that he can't win the big game. Even though he has won a Super Bowl, he still has that rap that he struggles in the playoffs, especially in this past season.

What's your opinion ?
huh? How can Lebron be compared to Manning?! Peyton Manning already has a championship under his belt, so in reality there is NO comparison between the two. There has been MANY great players from both league's who have never gotten a ring. Marino, Barry, Chris Carter come to mind in the NFL and Malone, Stockton, Barkley, Gervin come to mind in the NBA!
