lol at the tony reviionsist history.

Cotto beat Mosley. Pacquiao fights Cotto.
Mosley was also begging to fight Floyd too, let's not forget that. Floyd said no and mosley was set to fight Andre Berto. It took an epic earthquake and bad public backlash against floyd for him to get in the ring with the 38 year old mosley.

Go back further, Margarito & Cotto were at the top of the welterweight division. Every boxing fan wants floyd to fight one of these guys. Floyd instead fights Ricky Hatton who had no business at 147 and just got whooped on by Luis Collazo.

Margarito and Cotto fight, like real men, everyone expects floyd to fight the winner. Instead he retires!

Cut and pasted:

If Floyd took a series of fights, as PFP number 1 of:

David Diaz, Oscar (after Pacquiao had already beat him), Hatton (after Pacquiao had already knocked him out), Cotto (coming off a loss), Clottey (coming off a loss), Margarito (schooled by Mosely)

The media would destroy him

Further you can compare the common opponents:

Oscar: Floyd wins by split decision. Pac wins by stoppage and complete ownage, sends oscar to retirement.

Ricky Hatton: Floyd stops him in 10 rounds, Hatton won the first 4 rounds. Pac annihilates him in 2 rounds, sends ricky to retirement.

Cotto: Floyd ducked. Pac stops him in dominating fashion.

Margarito: Floyd ducked. Pac set to fight in November.

Marquez: Pac fights him two times at Marquez' natural weight classes, knocks him down 4 times total. Floyd makes Marquez come up two weight classes, then cheats Marquez on the scales by purposely not making weight, resulting in Floyd having to pay marquez $600,000. Floyd knocks him down once in 12 one side boring rounds.

LOL, there's no way you could compare LeBron to Floyd. Floyd is an undefeated champion mayne. Terrible comparson Johnny, no disrespect though.

It's good homie.... if that was LeBron that got rocked by those right hands from Mosely, he would have laid it down and quit. LeBron doesn't have the heart that Floyd has. Floyd gained a lot of respect for coming back and whooping Mosely's ass after he was damn near knocked out. I thought it was funny that Floyd was laughing and smiling while he was stunned.

I'd have to compare Floyd to Michael Jordan since they're both undefeated in their championships.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what fighter has Pac-Man fought that has hand speed and foot work?? It's funny how people let there hate for Money blind them to the facts. Facts if you have no hand speed and you're easy to hit you have no choice of beating Mayweather. There's no reason or FACTS to why Mayweather would duck two none defense having bums like Cotto and Stone Hands. Please!! If you want to talk about opponents lets talk about how the guy that gave Pac-man two great fights got beat like a drum by Mayweather. Please come with some good facts or views about why you guys think Pac-Man will beat Mayweather until next time folks.

Margarito is a bum! I don't know why they're getting on Floyd for not fighting Margarito like he's some champ. Margarito is so easy to hit it's not even funny. Floyd would have pot shotted Margarito to death.

They can praise Manny for fighting Margarito who beat Cotto and Cotto who beat Clottey. It's going to be nothing but target practice for Pacman.

Now what would be a good challenge for Pacquiao is if they let Margarito load this gloves up again. I'd give Manny props if he spanked Margarito with them loaded gloves.

^^Pacquiao isn't getting a ton of praise for fighting margarito, it's actually a bit risky because he'll be such a big favorite. Pacquiao gets props for actually stepping in the ring with these guys though (cotto/margarito/clottey) while floyd always has a ton of excuses why not to. That's the difference man.

There comes a point when "floyd WOULD HAVE beaten so and so" gets old. Just step in the ring and do it.

manny has never fought anyone as fast or skilled as floyd mayweather, and mayweather has never fought anyone as fast or skilled as pacquiao. That's why everyone wants to see them fight.

And you're also missing the point which is unfortunately only one of these guys wants to fight while the other is on vacation and "not even thinking about boxing right now."

Also, just because someone is offensive minded and doesn't have a ton of defense doesn't mean they would automatically lose. Example - Roberto Duran beat Sugar Ray Leonard the first time they fought when Sugar was undefeated. Duran was your typical latino fighter - non-stop relentless pressure, lots of hard punches, no defense. Sugar was your typical fast/slick african american boxer. That's why people pay to see the fights man nothing is guaranteed in boxing.

A better example is Castillo vs Floyd Mayweather in the first fight when the no defense Castillo gave money the worst fight of his career and many people believe was floyd's first loss of his career.

oh here we go, now tony resorts into saying the fight will be fixed. First it's "margarito is a bum" now it's "the fight will be fixed." So which one is it?

You ever thought that if margarito beats pacquiao, it's a win for bob arum too? Do you know how big of an upset that would be? You don't think margarito would regain a shitload of fans (especially mexicans) and you don't think bob arum could set up mega fights either rematch between margarito vs cotto II or even, floyd vs margarito if floyd was willing?

It's the same reason why bob arum set up cotto vs margarito (it didn't matter to him who would win because it would set up big fights for both of them regardless) and cotto vs yuri foreman, etc.

Zab Judah Interview: Super Judah Discusses Pacquiao and Mayweather
Published by Scoop Malinowski on July 22nd, 2010

Zab Judah is fresh off one of the more exciting TV performances of the year with his ESPN2 KO of Jose Santa Cruz in Newark, NJ last week.

I asked Zab who he thinks will win Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather?

“I think Floyd will win. I think a lot of the shots that Pacquiao is gonna throw at him is not gonna hit him,” says the former undisputed Welterweight champion. “Floyd is an expert at counter punches.”

Considering Mayweather’s refusal to sign the contract or, as we know now, to even partake in serious negotiations, I ask Zab if he believes Floyd might be scared to sign that contract?

“I don’t know what he’s gonna do. But if Floyd doesn’t want to fight him, my John Hancock is ready to go,” Zab says with a chuckle.

Something tells me Zab would love a rematch with Floyd, I ask if this is true. “If it happens, it happens. At the moment, my mind is on 140.”

Out of curiosity, I ask Zab what he would do differently, if he gets a rematch with Mayweather?

“If it happens, I’d show up for the rest of the fight.”

Does anyone else drop, and shake in disbelief when they read Tony's responses?

Seriously Tony, are you stupid? You're just nuthugging now, and none of your points make any sense. Get Floyd's scrotum out of your mouth, you might choke.

Floyd ducked Zab until Kostya Tsyzu demolished him in 2 rounds.
Floyd ducked Tsyzu until Hatton beat him in the UK.

We just need Manny to get a recent loss so Floyd can be like "Where is he at?! I will take him on any time!!!"
