Morebass, you gotta be the biggest hypocrite on this board......

I mentioned PPV/King numbers and you said, that has no relevance to this thread.

Then you talk about how Floyd didn't sell out the fight and how tickets were unsold. Practice what you preach bruh...

No, you can call it a diss if that makes you feel better, but a you know what a diss is just like I do, and I aint never dissed the man once. A diss is personal. Find it or stop double talking. And who beat Mosely??? Cotto??? He got the decision, but he didn't win the fight and Pacquiao's people know that. That's why he wouldn't fight Mosely. It's called fear.

And lots of laughs. He beat the winner of the Cotto/Mosely fight, when 3 years later? Didn't Cotto lose to Margarito? How come he didn't take the winner of that fight? At the time, none of us knew he was a cheater.

I don't give a shit about how you want to define the word "diss" argueing over the definition at this point is a complete waste of time.

As I stated twice now, make it three times, you have constantly discredited pac's accomplishments. I feel simply you are not giving pac the props he deserves.

And who beat Mosely??? Cotto???
Yes, Cotto beat Mosley. It was a close fight but Cotto out-boxed Mosley throughout the fight. I'm not alone you are in the minority in that opinion. I've re-watched the fight about 6-7 times. The first time I watched it live it seemed really, really close. Re-watching again and paying close attention to detail it was a clear Cotto victory. This was a tell-tell sign Mosley was slipping because he couldn't finish strong and that was always his strongest point - he was a fantastic finisher.

This was also a reason I concluded Floyd would beat Mosley easily. If Cotto could out-box Mosley, so could Floyd. Additionally I always maintained the margarito fight was a huge illusion for Shane, being that styles make fights.

Your are entitled to your opinion. If you believe Mosley won the fight, that's fine I don't care.

He got the decision, but he didn't win the fight and Pacquiao's people know that. That's why he wouldn't fight Mosely. It's called fear.
LOL sure. Pacquiao was fearful. If that's the case Floyd was fearful of Margarito when he turned down $8 million dollars to fight him and instead fought a lesser opponent for less money. That's using your logic. And even if your logic is correct, Pac made more money against cotto then he would have against shane whereas floyd made less money fighting a lesser opponent.

@2-0-Sixx... You really think I give a shit about you thinking I dissed Pac Man? If a diss is what "you" call it then so be it. you haven't shitted on Mayweather and what he has accomplished? it probably got mixed up in that double talk shit you do. The minority of people you keep alluding to is alot bigger than you think bruh. Mosely won end of story. He didn't get the decision due to Politics. Period.

Back to the topic the true P4P is the guy who will beat Pacquiao, and the sooner that fight is made, the sooner these tough internet guys can tuck their skirts. His name just happens to be Mayweather.

@Wyno.. I didn't know a knockout was the only way you could win a fight. LOL This aint the MMA bruh. Some fighters have skills that go far beyond power.

So Floyd has zero knock outs is what your saying? He didn't cold cock Hatton like Pac Man, but Hatton didn't go down twice? He did get the TKO didn't he? They saved Hatton or he would've gotten cold cocked.

@ Tony... You right, that is a fact. They can't take that away no matter how they try to dull it down. Of course it was a more hyped fight. You would put your money behind the bigger draw and make it an event. That's common sense

@Mr Cleen: yeah I didnt forget who you are I still remember talkin to you about your music a few times before. Im a BIG fan of yours haha. I was just curious if you were a boxing fan in general or just a Mayweather fan. Thats why I asked. I understand people have their own opinions and I respect that; nobody should take anything personal on this site, ever. But from reading this debate I just had to join in and ask that question that I asked. Now dont get me wrong, notice I didnt really call you guys haters. I just simply said you guys SOUND like straight haters. but anyway...

For you, it's just funny to me how you say "DLH was too old, too skinny, hasnt fought for a while"...basically saying passed his prime and then turn around and EASILY give props to Mayweather for beating Mosely. The things that you said about DLH could be also said about Mosely. Too old, looked weak, not being the same fighter...its just funny how you cant do the same for Pacman and give him his props for winning a fight he was EXPECTED to lose.

Also, It's funny how you say "Cotto wasnt a quality opponent" for Pacman. You can't give Manny his props for beating Cotto but can turn around and easily give Mayweather props for beating Marquez? Cmon man, Marquez moving up 2 weight classes doesnt make him a quality opponent.

that stuff just makes me scratch my head and I just had to point out that your opinions/reasonings just seem unbalanced.

as for Tony, the "comedy" part of my post was mostly directed at him. Really, not tryin to put dude down but I just found it funny how a new boxing fan like me can get a better understanding (after reading 206 and Morebass' explanations) of what Pound 4 Pound really means. Thats all...nothing serious about what I said. Was just simply pointing out that this debate is comedy to me.

oh and by the way, props to everybody for sticking to your own opinions in this forum. also wanted to point out that I enjoy reading through these boxing threads. I have nothing but respect for everybody here...but every now n then I might have a question or two haha

Man I can't wait till these dudes step in the ring and Floyd dominates Pac like he dominated Marquez and Shane..... then all this pound for pound talk will get put to rest.

Sure won't matter if the fight is sold out or not..... I've read somewhere that Floyd pulled in about 40 million..... I don't think he cares if the fight was sold out or not.
