I'm sayin if Black comics are a reflection on Black society...although I doubt the things said are an honest reflection. Often the point is to make people laugh. At least what I seen, though, seems like white people think Black comics do reflect Black society, and in a way they do and don't.

In my younger days I would get up in people's face if they talked shit on me, let em know go ahead and make fun of all white people except me, and most people would respond to that. Thats what it's gonna take is white people who aren't some sorry ass pitiful white people like you see on Friends...and we do exist, although I'd say we are the minority.

Oh well. Some dip in status as far as my reception with the black folks on this board is not gonna be a major deterrent to how I relate with Black people today. I'm not even tryin to get back at the "honorary whiteboy" status anyways.

The way I see it if a Black person is ready to accept a corny ass whitey white person then they will likely be fairly open-minded
and worth my time. Not to say I'm like that, but if you have to be an honorary whiteboy to get in the front door, then why should I fuck with it?

As far as Black/White relation status...I been recieving alot more antagonism than anything since I been with my girl. Oh well though. People always sayin bullshit like "oh what you doin with that whiteboy oh he must have money, you ain't black, bla bla bla". Too bad I'm broke an my girl pays for me most the time...lol.

I was ready to start some shit, some dude was locked on muggin me and my girl, and she pulled me off. She was like yo theres just as many racist Black people out there, and fightin dude is just gonna reinforce a negative ass mindset....which is true.

Cause I'm myself. I ain't goin out of my way to be liked. Like I said if a person is the type who will conversate with a nerdy ass white kid then they're worth my time. Oftentimes among black people who are less open-minded, if you aren't 1. black or 2. hold views similar to black people/the person you're talkin to, or 3. ghetto, you don't get your foot in the door.

Not being accepted by these standards by these standards doesn't worry me. The whole honorary whiteboy idea is that you accepted by close-minded, "Ghetto" black folks as well as everyone else in the black community. As far as black folks go, "everyone else" in the black community will already accept you. "Honorary whiteboy" denotes that you accepted among the most "black" black people, if that concept even exists.
