the guy did sound like he was making an effort to put down black people, which i dont agree with....HOWEVER.....

i work with minority/low income students. have been for about 5 years....and they can breakdown very nice, non racist people in a matter of months(especially white women).....ive seen teachers attitudes just change because of the absurd, ignorant, obnoxiousness of students. and thats bullshit for people to say that they shouldnt be teachers if they cant handle it. these are young intelligent people with tolerance and patience who want to go into teaching to make a difference, knowing that theyre gonna have to reach out to kids from troubled backgrounds..they know that theyre gonna have to work harder to get through to these kids, but i dont think they expect for kids to be yelling "shut the fuck up!" back at them cause they asked the student to change seats or clean up their snack...and then when they try to have a confrence with the parent, the parent never shows or gets defensive with the teacher. it can be pretty bad.

i went to a mexico soccer game at qualcomm stadium last weekend, and that reminded me why so many of these kids act the way they do....their fuckin parents are a bunch of grown dumbasses!!!! i was fortunate to be raised in a mexican home where my parents were mature. my pops and i were at this game just laughing and shaking our heads at how ridiculous these people were acting. grown men throwing shit, blowing horns in peoples faces, and being defiant towards ushers who wouldnt let them sit in seats that didnt belong to them. and theyve all got a grip of kids by their side....and these are the kids who are driving teachers crazy at school....their role model is their dad..the guy whos calling the security guard a puto for making him put his cigarette out...or their mom..some ignorant 24 year old with a bad attitude dressed like a bratz doll. part of this problem has to do with the fact that minorities are having these kids young, so they themselves are still far from mature enough to be setting examples for a kid.

black kids its the same thing. though they do act a little different than mexican kids. ima be honest, from my experience...black girls can have the nastiest attitude imaginable. it blows me away how angry and ignorant some of them can be...2 horrible combinations to have. but with that said, there are 3 middle school mexican girls who have been by far the rudest students i have ever worked with....so its not a race thing.

and its not a money in the schools thing. cause ive worked at schools in pretty impoverished neighborhoods (baker elementary..oceanview and 40th in dago....dudes in their bright red shirts at the park across the street), and i felt they had all the tools needed for a good learning environment. lincoln high in dago is a state of the art school..looks better than la jolla high....but theyre still a fucked up school cause its not about that. its just about kids coming to school from homes where their parents still dont think and act like true adults. until that changes minorities will always be fucked.

ive worked in schools in white neighborhoods and the kids attitudes are a world of a difference....and its not cause theyre smarter or more articulate, but just that theyre actually RESPECTFUL. and they actually get concerned when you tell them you're gonna have a talk with their parents, which is a big deal. you have a talk with a kids parents and youll see the difference in their behavior the next day. and these arent all white kids. these are minorities too, but generally speaking minorities in these schools have different attitudes than minorities in the hood...so its not about skin color but rather just about environment

i know institutionalized racism plays a major role in this but latin and black (when it comes to school asians and filipinos seem do be cool) folks need to really step it up. the playing field isnt level obviously but its not slanted to the point that underdogs cant come out on top. in the end i love working in the inner city schools, but its a sad world....but the schools arent the ones mainly at fault (which i used to believe) it really is the minorities themselves...bill cosby aint lying
You're absolutely right, it has everything to do with environment.

I've seen both sides of the spectrum with all races. The bad thing is, people my age started having kids in their early and mid teens, so when they're 27 or 28 years old, their kids are already 13, 14, 15. Kids that young can't teach a child...they don't have the maturity level to do so in ANY case.

I think the environment makes a difference sometimes too. Look at the private schools that are known for sports, the black kids who get scholarships to these schools to pay football or whatever sport don't act like idiots because they know they will get booted out of the school and lose a golden opportunity to better themselves. These kids n these poor schools probably act the way they do because they see their bleek future and feel they have nothing to lose.

When i lived in New orleans i knew some chicks who were fresh offa getting their teaching degree and were part of a program that sends teachers to some of the most impoverished schools in the country. These 24 year old white girls taught in some high school in the heart of one of the worst parts on New Orleans. The kids would call the white bitch and brittney spears right in front of their face without getting in any trouble, they used to say how afraid they were of these kids and i wouldnt blame them. I'm sure at least a couple of the kids they were teaching have probably killed before. They taught the especially troubled kids most of em only came to school to sell dope.

Thats part of the reason why these schools are shitty, alot of these kids do not want to be taught defeating the teachers drive to do their job so they go to a school where kids care about their education. Its a situation similar to a hotshot collegate football player getting drafted to the Detroit Lions, they will do their time but eventually they will get sick of losing and go free agent to a better team.

I'm just gonna leave it at this..."Reparations" is the biggest crock of shit ever....Neither you nor your parents nor your grandparents nor THEIR parents were slaves. So no one owes anyone shit....Sorry it's just true...Alot of injustice was committed in this country over the years. Doesn't mean anyone is owed a fucking check. Create your own destiny and keep it movin'. This world is too full of "professional victims" of ALL races.

Its sad that the issue is not black students but teachers. This guy is clearly not much more capable than his "inept" white female counterparts at holding down a good class. If you want to talk about disadvantaged, let's talk about the people who teach at inner city and even suburban schools. Most of them either picked teaching because they had no gifts in college academia, they have some border-line insane obsession with kids (particulary young kids "that baby is so cute I want one I want one) or they were picked on their entire lives and want to be in charge (similar to many police officers). I've volunteered at schools in inner-city San Francisco and watched just about any kid with a little bravado over-run their teachers. In one instance a teacher showed up to class without her hair combed in jeans and an old shirt. She didn't even shower because she smelled like B-O. The chldren just dont take that shit seriously. When I came in and lectured I wrecked shop. Kids would sit in their fuckin seats and if they didn't I'd put a dot on the chalkboard and make them touch their nose to it and stand like that the rest of the lecture. Its not difficult to teach children mentioned in the above paragraph, it takes critical character traits that many teachers lack, including, leadership, extrovert personalities, caring about the people you teach, and being confrontational.

I know there are many great teachers out there. If it weren't for 3 teachers I had in high school, I'd probably be in jail or in a shack with 16 kids by now. But I'm speakin the general truth.
Of course they listened to u...I would never talk back to my teacher if his name was MaddDogg

You said it. You could pay out billions and billions to all the African-American's who are descendents of "slavery victims" in the USA and it still wouldn't solve shit. None of them would ever forget about slavery. Not to mention those people would be undeserving...

It's an ancient form of labour. Matter of fact, the ancient Egyptians used young teenagers in farming, gathering, and labouring. It was proven by studying hundreds of skeletons found in several different archaeological digs. They could tell by the way their bones were underdeveloped and overworked for their age.....

He reminds me of my Marketing teacher at Serra High in Dago. He loved my homeboy Gerald and my ex boyfriend and went to all of their basketball games. Gerald was in my class. One day I stood up and had on this little outfit and this surfer boy was like, "damn girl!" the teacher laughed because he was looking too. Then about a week later my friend Gerald does the same thing to me. The teacher sent him to the office. He was so upset And said Gerald had sexually harrassed me. I was like you and the surfer boy did the same shit last week! But The basketball team had just lost in the play offs.
Back to my ex. The co captain of the basketball team. White girls used to give him head on demand. This one affluent white girl was proud of it. I was like, "why are you sucking my mans dick?" she was not embarrassed and was like, "I didn't know you two were still together" I couldn't even get mad because I thought sucking dick was nasty. That's why Somore said us sisters need to start sucking dick because white girls keep a black dick in their mouths.
How about Shakespeare? In Othello when he thinks his white wife is cheating he says, you are disgusting now you are black to me. In Much To Do About Nothing he says ugliness is being an Ethiopian.their greatest writer shits on black people in everyone of his plays. What makes himso great? Because they say so. When I wrote my senior research paper titled, "shakespeare the racist" my teacher said Shakespeare had never left England. Plus I learned later that all of his sonnets were written for a man. I got an A. The previous year in Georgia I wrote a paper about most of the Egyptian pharaohs being black. My teacher gave me an F saying my sources were not aurhorative and the Pharaohs were not black. My mom has a masters and was on her ASS. Everyday I walked into that school under a confederate flag.
I got close to 50 of these stories.
Of and that fags little comment about teaching us about Marcus Garvey. My white teachers who were suspect loved him because he wanted blacks to go back to Africa. That is only a part of Garvey the only part they teach.
In conclusion, fuck that author and give me my motha fuckin reparations! Yall is RACIS!

I said oriental because not all of asia is off-branched from the oriental races...
we Asian homie.

I can see where whoever wrote that is coming from, but they only lookin at what the results of a problem, and not the cause of the problem. If I beat my dog everyday and then a few years later I'm like damn, my dog is bad as fuck. Fuck that dog, that's kind of foolish cuz I gotta think to myself that it's a reason for the dog to be acting that way.
Same with humans mayn, you aint born just fuckin shit up and not trusting anyone. That shit is a learned behavior, you conditioned to be like that, so you gotta look and see what leads to that. But anyway, Im faded so whatever.
