these cds r mosdef dedicated to the real E-40 fans who been slappin him for 10-15 years. instant favs for me r , teach ya how to sell dope, whip it up, everyday(ft jacka), all i need, hes a gangsta, knock em down music and ahhh shit. played them the most but i cant find 1 song i dont like other than the server never grew on me

to the people who dont like these cd's ur ears suck and u like shitty music, 1 dude sayin jstalin was better, go kill urself. 40 rules and he made this cd so great and flipped a big middle finger to mainstream. this shit is so creative. 40 FOR PRES

nope. that's a testament to how generic the beats are on these new 40 albums. Most of them have the same boring drum patterns, tempo, and then like 1 or 2 sounds. most don't even have what could be called a melody

i agree with jesse fuckin rice... the beats, for the most part, are lackluster...

there's some really good beats here and there ("can't stop the boss", "im a teach ya how to sell dope", etc), but the only thing that really makes these albums work is E-40 himself.... that man can still rap his ass off after all these years
