I love everything 40, himself, does on here...i just dont like the beats. The Weedman is far and away the best beat on both discs. Like, its not even a competition.

I actually think the production really fits E-40. He ripped every beat to shreds. Lyrically and delivery wise, this is some of the most vicious stuff I've heard him spit. I only skipped the two slow songs that ft. J Valentine and one other that I can't remember -- and that's out of 38 tracks. I'm very surprised with this album. One of my favorite E-40 albums since In A Major Way.

I agree on the production. I think it could have been better. Alot of the beats sound the same and each song has a hook that repeats itself like 20x over. I thought he was gonna do some mobb shit on this one but does not seem to be the case. Ya that Weedman track is hard but I wish more of the cd was like this.

Today's music is Washed. The young producers on here ruined the album. Lyrically 40 still got it, but from the production side of it..................... ruined both albums.
Just my opinion. A couple of slaps out of 38 tracks. I'm not happy with the first listen.
Maybe it will grow on me.

when I first listened to it I was only really feelin like half the tracks on the album

after soakin it up some more I'm feeling the majority of the tracks... some more than others obviously... but overall this shit is dope

I think maybe 40 is just so dope that he's able to make the beats sound better... or they fit his style nicely, I dunno, either that or they grew on me,I dunno... there's a few songs that I skip over because the beats are just weak... but the majority are slappin, IMO
