and from what i noticed rampage never went in on forrest he was just countering shit. thats fucking dumb. forrest had the balls to always start the exchange and that alone deserves alot. i mean yeah it was real close but rampage did nothing really. we had a champ like him before and it sucked, lets see what forrest does after this.
everyone saying Rampage got robbed. what fight did u watch. forrest won the 2nd round 10-8 and in the next round when rampage took him down and was on top he got that triangle in. rampage didnt do anything while on top. 5th round griffin was the only one really landing anything.
and all this Forrest didnt do enough to take the belt. Did Rampage do enough to keep the belt?
i wasnt cheering for either person in this fight. even though the scoring was a little lopsided, i think the decision was right.

Exactly. Forrest was the aggressor for 99% of the fight. That is the main reason he won.
And I say Forrest won rounds 2 easily, 4 close and 5 kinda close but there was a decent gap. I wouldn't argue with anyone giving Forrest round 3 either. Nothing really happened so it could go either way. Only round Rampage definitely won was round 1.
I'm done arguing about it though. It aint that important to me.

I had a draw... I think its kinda a bullshit decision, moreso based on the way the judges scored it.. There was no doubt that Rampage won the first, third and fourth rounds.. No doubt.

i thought i was trippen cuz all these people on here are convinced forrest won but yeah i think Rampage won rounds 1, 3, and 4 also. I really dont see a 10-8 round being scored but maybe i dont understand what it takes to get 2 point advantage in a round. In boxing it requires a knockdown, i dont know what it takes in mma
It was close but I thought Rampage pulled off rounds 1,3,4 with 3 & 4 being close. I don't think you can call it a robbery especially after Rampage himself admitted he lost.
Also I disagree with the you have to decisively beat a champion shit and I always have. If you lose a round by a fraction of a point you should lose that round no matter who the fuck you are. If you lose a fight by one point and you're the champion you have no one to blame but yourself. You shouldn't be allowed to slack up or attempt to even out a round just because you're champion so you think you'll get the round.

I don't see how you can give forrest 10-8 on round two, he just hit him with some pussy ass elbows and did not do any thing close to finishing the fight while he had him mounted, be that as it may if the scoring is going to be like that round one should have been 10-8 for rampage with knockdown, and then the other time in the round he rocked his ass. I think it should have been a draw at least.........
man, that fite kinda fucked up my nite..i can't stand forrest, lol. i could see how people would look @ it as a draw, but i also feel like forrest squeaked by with a victory there. if it weren't for that 2nd round, i'd probly feel a lil different tho..& i do feel kinda cheated that the belt changed hands over a performance like that. it was fair n square or whatever, but i think a rematch would be somethin' similar to st pierre - serra 2.

damn thunderstorm knocked out the satelite halfway through the prefights. Caught the last 4 of the main fight. Rampage was lookin weak as ever. His knee is fucked. Forrest would win a rematch too. he's got more stamina and a better ground game.

I had it 48-47 Rampage. 2 & 5 to Forrest, and no 2 was not a 10-8 round Forrest didn't land shit. A minute into the fight I knew what was happening, Forrest got the push. Joe & Gold were fluffing him so much I wanted to mute the fucking tv.
