The one ideal MMA should take from Boxing is that you should have to convincingly beat the champion to take the title from him. That didn't happen here I don't think.

Rampage wasn't aggressive enough though. He kept waiting for Forrest to make a mistake and Forrest wasn't making too many mistakes

I like Joe...but you could tell that he was hella pro-Forrest.

Did you hear the crowd booing when Forrest went up to interview after the fight...? They knew the deal...that was bullshit. Props to 'Page for taking the L like a G though...

Rampage wasnt aggressive enough cuz Forrest kept staying on the outside and kept running away and shit but its not like that was even favoring Forrest. Like i said Forrest didnt do much after round 2

Thats what I'm saying.

You have to TAKE the title. He didn't do that, IMO.

Not one judge scored in favor of Jackson either. This was just one fight, but this is the type of shit that really kills boxing.

^ Yeah, and Page dominated him in the 4th just as bad.

I thought Page at least had 1,3,4...for sure.

5 was a tossup...neither guy was doing much.

that 4 rd could have went to anyone that triangle was in and I guess they gave it to forrest cause he was tried to finish the fight

^ I like him too...but him talking about a rematch immediately after the fight shows that he didn't even feel he convincingly took that belt from Rampage.
