Yeah I'm definitely not a fan of the way he fought but my whole thing is I understand him getting the win due to the current scoring system. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. That was only his 2nd decision in 28 wins, so hopefully he gets back to his old ways. I think he'll be much more agressive in the GSP fight but who knows. Fuck Greg Jackson though, I can't stand that guy.
i still hope condit beats gsp... he better come out with that same fire he came out with DYK

Only thing that really interests me about the CC vs GSP fight is that Jackson will be in Condit's corner. I wonder what kind of game plan he come up with to fight the fighter he used to come up with game plans for. I'm sure he will find a way to out point the king of out pointing.

Though I understand this point of view, speaking as a fan, who pays hard earned money to be entertained...the fight was a letdown. Again, great strategy to get the win, but as a fan, don't felt like I got my money's worth.

I get the idea that the fighter's only concern is the outcome, though.
I'll never tell anyone else what they should or shouldn't like. If this isn't the type of fight you like to watch, that's a legit complaint. My main thing is the people slamming on Condit like he's done this his whole career, he figured out what Diaz was doing and did what he needed to do to counter it in the biggest fight of his life.

Again I scored the fight for Diaz, I've only watched it once, I just don't see it as the complete robbery everyone else did apparently. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a rematch at all if that's what they decide to go with.

I hear you. I didn't knock Condit personally for this, because I know he's a legit finisher. My problem is more with strategies in which the intent is to outpoint someone.

I had it 3 rounds to 2 for Diaz, (Rds 1,2,5) but don't see how it was a robbery in anyway shape or form. I'd say they clearly won 2 rounds a piece and the 5th was a tossup. Gave the 5th to Nick because he ended up scoring a takedown, and then took Condit's back.

IF CONDIT WANTS TO KEEP HIS RESPECT INTACT WITH NOT ONLY HIS FANS BUT THE MMA COMMUNITY.

HE'S GONNA REMATCH NICK...IF HE DONT...I THINK IT'S GONNA BE CAREER SUICIDE.

HE'S CATCHING SHIT FROM EVERYWHERE. AND MAYBE HE WILL BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH IT FOR AWHILE BUT IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS WHERE IT'S AWAYS GONNA HANG OVER HIS HEAD.

see that makes no sense to me. the point system is suppose to point you on aggression, i remember they did when they gave forrest the title and though people disagreed with that decision that was a good one because forrest was bringing the fight to rampage and they're suppose to point you for that. that's the only problem i see in the scoring is that diaz didnt seem to get any points for being the aggressor. condit out struck him with leg kicks being checked, that should count as a block but does? i need to know he these judges reffed this shit cause i watched this damn fight twice and from they tell me how the scoring system is i got diaz winning it 3-2 easily.

and yeah if Dana offers that rematch and condit doesnt take it he'll lose fans left and right including me, but as of right now i'm still a big fan of him, just not a fan fan of the outcome.

also just to be clear, i love a brawl more than anyone but i also love a technical chess math if you will aswell. i love when 2 juijitsu guys go at it and i enjoy the ground game (if good) so this isnt me just wanting a "dog fight". this is these guys careers and yeah maybe being crazy and entertaining will get you some fans but it wont make you're paycheck bigger to support you're kids. Condit did the right thing in this fight, only problem he didnt find his rithym until the 3rd and would've had the 5th maybe if he wasnt taken down. i think because it wasnt a wrestling take down it didnt score too well either, cause didnt chael do the same shit and won rounds? whatever i'm done even talking about this fight. just give me Bendo/Edgar which i now will be streaming.

Ok u Diaz fanboys:

Sources close to the deal just now confirmed with The Underground that Carlos Condit has accepted a rematch with Nick Diaz for the interim welterweight title.
Condit said 'Yes, I accept the rematch' and will be in Las Vegas on Thursday to finalize the deal with the UFC.
This past Saturday, Diaz and Condit fought to a five round decision, a decision that went in the favor of Condit. Diaz, along with many fans, fighters, and media had thought he had done enough to win a decision, but all three judges scored the bout for Condit.
At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White said there was a possibility a rematch could be made, but it seemed unlikely as Diaz had said post-bout that he was retiring from fighting and earlier today Condit's camp said they were not interested in a rematch.
It's unclear at this time as to when the rematch will take place, but it looks like the fans got what they asked for.

^^ but will condit end up injured before the "rematch" ..lol im talkin shit but its a def possiility..i get suspicious of all these sudden injuries sometimes..i understand this is ultimate fighting and shit can and will happen..but damn...can i get the fight that im anticipating more than only half the time

with that said..i hope diaz dont retire and i i doubt he will cuz he needs to earn a living and he loves to fight..tho i only want to see a rematch with the small hopes that condit will take a lil risk and give us fans what we want

Eh, never mind:

Ariel Helwani @arielhelwani
. @theug is reporting the Diaz-Condit rematch is on, however, Condit's manager @malkikawa says: "Far from true. We haven't accepted nything"

Don't really care for it anyways. It's a lose / lose situation for condit. Only way for him to win is avoid "brawling against the cage". If he does that, he's "running". If he doesn't, he ends up like the rest of the Diaz bros VICTIMS.

something's going on. The above 2 things, and now Cesar said he's being interviewed by Helwani right now to break "the news" and Condit isn't fighting GSP or Nick this year.

man if GSP vs Nick happens GSP's the shit again
