I would have to agree on that article that Mr Cleen posted. The only ones speaking publicly is top rank. And there really hasn't been anything etched in stone about the contract negotiations.

Buuutttt, since Mayweathers side hasnt said anything and are still mum about the negotiations, I have a feeling that Top Rank is giving in as far as drug testing, split, etc. So since Mayweathers side is so quiet, that only shows that they have nothing to say and have no excuses to not fight. Im pretty sure Mayweather or his side would of at least came out publicly and called out top rank for bullshitting about contract negotiations.

I guess we'll find out tonight when they have that conference call and everything should come out to light on wether or not the negotations are true on top ranks behalf.

well let's not forget Oscar de la hoya announced on TV both sides reached an agreement. I think it's pretty clear that top rank & golden boy came to terms and it's up to floyd at this point. If it wasn't the case, if this whole thing was made up (lol) golden boy or team floyd or someone would have came out and simply said, "we're still waiting for a contract" etc.

Furtherr, Dan Rafael reported that bob arum was working specifically with al haymon on this one (floyd's manager) and Greenberg (HBO sports) and haymon agreed to a contract he was ok with and sent it off to floyd.

I'm sure bob arum's "countdown", "deadline" and "floyds decision" are all for marketing and publicity though. Like if Floyd doesn't make the 12:00am deadline today but signs tomorrow morning you think the fight is still off? lol no way

Didn't Floyd tell Merchant we'd have a fight if Pac agreed to take the blood test? I remember Merchant asking Floyd during the interview after the Shane fight and Floyd said we'd have a fight if he's willing to take the blood test.

Anyways, Top Rank is having an announcement/press conference at 12:00 Pacifici tonight. I would hope that means the fight is done and they are just waiting to announce. Not sure why you'd have a press conference to announce NO DEAL lol. This is the pic on toprank.com

You also cant forget that time is money. Who the hell wants to sit and wait for someone to agree to a fight when you can make money elsewhere. Wether it be 10mil or 50 mil or whatever, I rather get money asap and get that bigger purse later...if it ever comes.

it's possible, still pretty gay to hold a conference if it's anything but floyd.

also just to throw it out there, I wonder how much of an impact of the Roger Mayweather's court case coming up is in play. It's possible he could go to jail and would be locked up in Nov. Perhaps Floyd doesn't want that. I couldn't hate on him if that's his excuse because I think it's a legit one not having your trainer in your corner in the biggest fight of your life (although Floyd Sr. I'm sure could step in fine).

i'm having doubts about the fight happening in november..i can see it now 12 midnight top rank website press conference. "boo hoo my uncle is going to prison i'll just wait till next year when pacquiao gets deep into his congressional responsibilities and then i'll fight him."

if he don't sign for this year blah i lost all respect for him a long time ago!

When are you people going to realize that Pac-Man is using PED and he's scared to fight Mayweather without them. Now all the boxing websites are saying the same thing. Take the random drug test so the fight can be made.

Shut the fuck up! There was no proof he ever used PEDs. Haters always go to the "he's using roids that's why he's winning!" That's the only thing u niggaz can say. Just admit another boxer made your favorite boxer look like a bitch which also makes u look like a bitch.
