if god is all knowing, then he would know the future.... no everything we will do, now if he knows everything we will do, that would mean there is no free will, it is already planned out

some people on here are so damn ignorant..

the new testament is a bunch of bullshit...

so wait, can someone tell me what year adam and eve made this terrible choice of eating an apple...and did god know they were going to eat this apple if so why let them, does he love us or did he want to have a reason to make mankind pay so he let them eat the stupid apple...if you believe this stuff you have serious problems

if he knew they were going to eat the apple, why make paradise in the first place? if god knew that satan would fall from heaven and start a holy war, why create the angel taht was to become satan in the first place?

Wow! And you're surely showing your wisdom.
Who cares what year it was, it's only a number.
A number of a system which measures our temporary existence here on Earth.

You can say that he set them up in a way.
I mean, he did leave this forbidden tree in the garden.
How ever he warned them not to eat from it, yeah knowing Satan was going to tempt them into eating from it.
This however doesn't mean that God didn't love Adam and Eve.
If you are willing to accept this "metaphor",
then you accept God's salvation. Which is Jesus Christ....
All you have to do is accept his sacrifice....
It is very very simple....

There's a reason for everything.
The story of creation is not to be taken literately.
It is a metaphor.
God had it all planned out, he needs an entity like Satan.
For many reasons, an example for the rest of the Angels.
And a warden for the prison where rebellious people will go.
Satan was in Earth long before anyone else was, remember Genesis? "Darkness was upon the Earth".... And so on....
It goes very deep....
You can either read Genesis for yourself or do a quick search around the net. There's all kinds of legit info sites....

so satan was on earth hundreds of thousands of years ago...because there have been human fossils found that have been dated that old...
so what your saying is this god told them not to eat the apple, but in his mind knew they would eat it. he just told them so he could say "i though i told you not to eat it, now mankind for eternity will pay for your mistake" this god sounds like a caniving jerk...oh im sorry i keep mistaking this stuff for facts

Like I said, the antidote is Christ.
That's if you are willing to accept the scripture....

I know, it's hard to swallow when you are on the outside looking in. It's what troubled me the most when I started learning about this shit....

Some people can accept it, and some cannot....

That's what I get out of it anyway....

Christians will disagree with me, but oh well.
Read the scripture for yourself, that's what I get out of it....

Either way, this doesn't make God both evil and good.
Jesus always said God was love....

"@HTB - just because the variables are not in the grasp of a mans mind does not mean that it is not able to be calculated."

Yes it does. It can not be calculated until all variables are understood. So unless you are referring to a day in the future you are incorrect. The fact that nothing in the universe is "truly" random is proof of the amazing order present.

"Order doesn't need a deity to exist. the order of this universe can be a byporduct of an untold number of circumstances outside of the universe."

That statement is foolish. What can exist outside of the universe to make this byproduct? The universe by definintion is everything of material existance--All energy, All matter--etc. Therefore what again is this order a byproduct of? Since this order doesn't need a deity to exist.

do you need to know pi to understand a circle? do you need to know what r2 (r squared) means to comprehend a circle? no
just because you can't calculate the variables does'nt mean teh variables can't be calculated. randomality is a perception.

and as you just proved me correct by repeating me. (you and vyasadeva must be buddies too)

nothing in the universe is TRULY random. which I said ALL ALONG DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!!! so as I said randomality is a perception ALL things can be calculated. maybe not by you. but just because YOU can't calculate it doesn't mean it is incalculable.

according to Einstein there is a possibility that there are multiple universes and at least 10 demensions. so if Einstein a known genius thinks there are multiple universes why is it so hard for YOU to comprehend that the circumstances of OUR universe is NOT a byproduct of things that MAY be outside of this one????

once again I assert my position that there is no need for divinity or deity.

even as a theist if you don't believe nothing is random and that the universe is predestined you are actually NOT COMPLETELY in belief of gods absolute control. for if god is incontrol of EVERYTHING. NOTHING is random. LMFAO

LOL at whats a theist LMFAO you're playing right?

the concept of infinity gives the idea of perpetuance.
why does one HAVE to think that time started? humans MEASURE time similar to the way they measure lines line segments rays plane etcetera.

just as a mathematical line is infinite so is time. It is understandable that man likes to quantify things but for time to be part of the absolute It must be itself an absolute factor.

It may be capable of change (bending and reconfiguring) but it is most definitely absolute.

how can the big bang be random? (that is if there was a big bang (remember space is a vacuum NO SOUND LOL))

:::
speaking of space being a vacuum and the big bang my question is our universe sucking in or pushing out? (my theory is sucking in.)
