It remains to be seen what team Love will end up with, but he made clear that he would love to play for his hometown team, which will have a lottery pick. He said he became a fan of the Trail Blazers watching teams that featured the likes of Arvydas Sabonis, Rasheed Wallace, Scottie Pippen and Damon Stoudamire.

"I used to jump out of my seat," Love said of watching those teams.

He also has friends on the current Blazers team -- including center Greg Oden and forward Martell Webster -- and likes the direction the franchise is going.

"I really, really love the Trail Blazers, and hey, I'd love to play for them," Love said. "Any team that's going to pick me, I'd love to play for, but it gives me a little extra incentive that Portland's right up there. It's where I'm from. I'm from the rain, and I wouldn't mind going back to the rain at all."

You know, I was doing that mock lottery draft on ESPN...and the fucking Bulls kept ending up at around 8-9...and every fucking time, they chose Kevin Love. I DO NOT want Kevin Love's weak-ass in a Bulls uniform. I did it about 30 times...and all but ONE time it was Love to the Bulls. The other time, they got 2nd and picked Rose. That would be great...


...but not likely.

best small forward in the draft = straight....hes a good shooter, moves without the ball and plays alright defense. i might not sure it's going to matter, i think we are going to trade our first pick anyways. i think kp is going to try package up our pick with jarret for something...but we will see

Its hard to say. It really depends on who is still on the board. I have seem some mock drafts that have guys like Eric Gordon falling to us at 13. I think Russell Westbrook is probably most likely but it could be Kevin Love (who I hear has lost a lot of weight), Anthony Randolph (great athlete, left handed, fills a need at SF, high potential), or maybe even DJ Augustin if he's on the board. Another scenario I have thought about is taking DeAndre Jordan if he's there and then packaging Przybilla (as valuable as he may be to this team) in a deal for a quality pg who may be on the block like Heinrich. A lot can happen between now and draft day, we'll just have to see how it pans out. Don't forget though that the guy who you could say is the best Blazer ever (Drexler) got picked up at #14.

^^^I don't know about that. I think Love is gonna be pretty good. Maybe not at an All Star level, but his offensive game is too developed and refined at this early stage in his career to not be at least a decent NBA player. I wouldn't mind if we got him, but I think he'll probably be gone by the time we pick, plus we already got Aldridge at PF.

new york aint too happy to be pickin so low, seattle is a bum franchise that NEEDED a top 3 pick, and memphis, whose pickin lower then expected, seems to love to give up assets to teams in the hunt for the playoffs/championships... so im pretty sure we can put together some packages to move up in the draft if thats what we wanted...


if pritchard is eyein mayo/bayless then he will get em...
