Great pitching will always get the best of great hitting. We just need to score 4 runs a game and we will be okay this season. Manny would have been a great fit but like in frisco who is going to be on base for manny to knock in.

thats the truth, but every year we get better. We need to start developing offense in the farm system too.. its all pretty much pitching.

I'd say Schmidt did.. that money for nothing, just to sit.. atleast Zito played and we got some good starts out of him the last couple of months.. And he's getting his stuff back, Andruw Jones+ Schmidt > Zito.

i saw schmidt hit a homer off jeff weaver (with the dodgers), and later that night sat at a table next to Brad Penny and Alyssa Milano at a restaurant...good times.

the giants got some pop i guess, they got 20 homers this spring training.. which leads the majors in spring training.. hit a home run in every game so far.
