He should have tried to make that throw, but throwing across your body is not an easy thing. Especially for a right handed QB rolling to his left. Boss wasn't wide open but JC could have put it up towards the back of the end zone to give Boss a chance to make a play. No biggie, it is preseason. Next time he will make that pass. JC is going to be just fine.
That's BS bruh.... he could have easily thrown that ball to the corner of the end zone. He had time as he was running too, that was an easy throw to make for an NFL quarterback. The dude that was covering Boss was UNDER Boss which means all Campbell had to do was throw it OVER his head with a little bit of touch. The defender was clearly out of position to make any kind of play on the ball. It was the perfect call for that defense, Campbell just blew it.... my girl was even asking why didn't he throw the ball... Russell would have made that throw, cut the crap. Jason Campbell is showing that he is a bit slow.

Trade the names boss for Davis and jc for smith and your post will look familiar.... Get over it bro, Campbell is no better than smith....
I don't get how Niner fans can say Campbell is not better than Smith. Campbell has shown improvement every year in the league, the same can't be said about your boy Smith. I get I am in the minority about my opinions and views, but I have watched Raider football my entire life and know we are close, alot closer than many want to believe and that is fine. Lets bring this conversation up around week 12 or so.

edit* Campbell needs to take more risks slinging the rock, that is his only fault. Campbell did not turn the ball over though.

The Oakland Raiders selected former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor with a third-round pick in Monday's supplemental draft, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Oakland picked Pryor with the 18th selection in the third round.

The NFL allowed Pryor into the draft Thursday with the caveat that he wouldn't be allowed to practice for the team that selected him until Week 6. The quarterback would have faced a five-game suspension had he stayed at Ohio State.

Pryor's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told The Associated Press on Thursday that "we accept that voluntarily." But the player's attorney, David Cornwell, told ESPN Radio on Friday that it was "likely" the five-game punishment would be appealed once Pryor signed an NFL contract.

Pryor said Saturday there would be no appeal.

"I'd like to thank the commissioner, Mr. (Roger) Goodell, for giving me the opportunity to play in the NFL," he said. "It's a dream of mine to play quarterback here. We will not appeal. I'll serve (the suspension), along with my senior Buckeye buddies, because I did a wrong thing when I was young and I must serve it."

i dunno giving up #2-5 pick for him doesn't seem right. From what I seen oak has had to of the best drft years this year and last & to gve up mre picks for a fast but unproven Qb who played spread. I understand U'll B getting picks from Millers abscence & Nnamdi but still cld have made a 3rd year impact in the drft.

Well if we're still getting picks then it's worth the gamble, especially watching Jason Campbell. You never know though, Pryor could be a steal... Al Davis has been known to gamble and he doesn't care what anyone thinks.

I'm sticking with my team and rolling with who ever they draft/sign regardless, I learned my lesson last year and won't be making that mistake ever again.
