these player really piss me off your getting paid millions of dollars to go out there and play football yet they go out there and bitch and throw hissy fits. Grow the fuck up sign your contract report to your team and earn the money that your being paid. Just be glad your not working somewhere making minimum wage like the average joe is.
I feel what you sayin but it's not about making more than the average joe anymore. He already has money. At this point of his career it's all about being a winner or a loser.

what makes this even funnier, is its basically karma for all the crabtree situation, Crabs is about the money not the team, whereas Seymour doesnt want shit to do with the Raiders

yeah i get what you saying but these players need to realize a bad team can't get better unless you go out there and play your heart out and teach these younger guys how its done. unless you give back later in your career then your career doesnt really leave an impact once ur gone.

how can you blame him. it is what it is. at the end of the day he is still a proffessional athlete. hopefully he doesnt pull a craptree. the good thing is he is a PROVEN player. he has every right to be upset.

oh yeah.

i'm sure we will give him his 3-4 year contract. that is really what this is about in the end. he will come to oakland, he just wants more money. it is good knowing that has NEVER been an issue with the raiders.

as a fan is that really what you want? you gave up a first round pick for the guy and now youre talking about over paying him. seems like a move the raiders will regret a few seasons down the road.

^^^doesn't work like that over here man...you signed a contract with the team and they can trade you whenever they like unless like i said before you put a no-trade clause in your contract.

as far losing the 1st round pick goes, well I think the raiders have the option of trading him to another team and try to get something for him, I doubt they can get a first round pick in return tho.
Thats very sad for the fans being told your team is not good enough to play for and on top of that losing a 1st round pick..

Horrible dealing whoever did this needs to be fired ASAP.

as a fan, i cant control what happens in the front office. as a fan, i can see where he is coming from. going from a contentender to a rebuilder. if he gives us 2-3 solid years and helps are young guys, it's a good deal. #1's are a crapshoot. you pay these clowns all that money and dont know what your getting. overpaying and wanting a contract extension are two different things. i think seymour wants the latter and we know what we are getting.

Maybe Seymour was cool with being paid 3 million to play for the Patriots but maybe he's not cool with playing for 3 mill for the Raiders. He's not here though which makes me think he wasn't cool with being traded to the Raiders. Maybe he doesn't trust our organization and wants his contract taken care of first. He's being really quiet about the situation. In all honesty, I don't think he wants to play in Oakland, that's why he hasn't showed up and hasn't said one word.

it is the media hyping this thing up. he has a reason to be a little upset but at the end of the day football is a business.he wants 3-4 year deal. i'd say give him 12-15 million depending on the years. from all accounts seymour is a pro, not a clown. that explains why he is being quiet.
