The New England Patriots are crooks man, they flat out robbed us. They gave us a 4th round pick for Moss and we give them a 1st round pick for Seymour and this mf didn't even show up. Now they won't even take him back...
Your man Al Davis is the one who caused all of that. He didn't have to accept a 4th rounder for Moss and he didn't have to send a 1st rounder for Seymour.

^^^ Who gives a fuck what the rest of the league thinks, we got a prime time game on the first week of the season. Shows how big the Raiders fanbase is.
the nfl just wanted to showcase the chargers, thats why ur on prime time 1st week. and most raider games are blacked out...so if the fan base is that big, thats sad that they dont make it out to the game!

Go ahead and enjoy it the only one thats really gonna hurt is Seymour although he is already a millionaire and this situation is definitely is not as bad as the Crabtree situation cuz we have the rights to Seymour.
you do know we have the rights to Crabtree as well right? :cheeky:

^^^ just for you from espn lol.

Richard Seymour said he was "blindsided" by his trade to the Oakland Raiders from the New England Patriots, the Boston Herald reported Saturday on its Web site.

Seymour, who was traded Sunday for a first-round draft pick in 2011, but had yet to join the Raiders, was due to board a flight to Oakland on Saturday, according to the report.

When Seymour did not show nearly a week after the trade, the Raiders on Friday sent him a five-day letter, stipulating that he report within five days or be suspended for the entire season and forfeit his $3.685 million salary.

Seymour said he made no contract demands as a condition of his joining the Raiders, but needed time to settle personal issues first, including where his family would live during the season, according to the report. He said he has been in contact with Raiders owner Al Davis and coach Tom Cable since the trade.

According to the report, Seymour learned he had been traded via a phone call from Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

"First of all, I was blindsided by this whole event," Seymour said, according to the Herald. "When you get blindsided, you should take a moment to gather your thoughts. I have a lot of personal issues more pressing than football."

Those issues, according to the report, were arranging for his wife and four children to move back to his home state of South Carolina, while he plans to live alone in Oakland during the season. Seymour is also the legal guardian of a 15-year-old cousin who was starting high school in Massachusetts.

"There are a lot of different emotions," Seymour said. "Football was not my main concern at that point. I have had discussions with the Raiders. ... I'm excited and happy with the way they're looking at me."

Seymour plans to play in the Raiders' season opener on "Monday Night Football" against the San Diego Chargers. "I'll be the guy on top of the quarterback," he said, according to the report.

Defensive end Richard Seymour is traveling to Oakland today and will report to his new team, Seymour said via text. Eugene Parker, Seymour’s agent, also confirmed that Seymour plans to report to the Raiders.

Seymour spent the last week near his Boston home following the Sept. 6 trade that sent his rights from the Patriots to the Raiders for a 2011 first-round pick.

Seynour has one year left on his contract and had been unhappy with the trade, as well as his contract status, according to a source. He could have faced forfeiture of his $3.7 million salary and losing a year of service time towards free agency had he failed to report to Oakland.
